I've been a utility work for the same company at varies sites for the past 24 years. i work with a lot of high pressure, high temperature, high voltage systems, so the potential for danger is there, but for the most part I have always felt safe in my job. Many of my co-workers have said the company's motto should be "Safety 1st, unless it cost money", and I've always disagreed with that, until the other day. We had an incident at my site that left everyone shook up. The company went into full Fix The Blame, Not The Problem mode. In terms of my company's safety policies it was the 1st time it every left me angry.
So, how safe do you feel at your job? And is safety taken seriously at your job?

The only safety concerned for me would be a tornado as I have to stay in position so we can alert people. However the job is in the middle of the city, so it would have to be some kind of "The Day After Tomorrow" level catastrophe.

I work with the developmentally disabled and honestly the company's safety culture overall sucks, its absolutely policies in place to cover their asses while not actually being enforced. That said as far as the site I usually work at I've got a crew of veterans of the medical field so I couldn't feel safer with them.

I work in a factory that has a pretty damn good safety record. We have had injuries but we do try to prevent them. It helps that our safety manager cares deeply. I was on the safety committee for ten years and saw first hand how much he cares. When I would hear stories from reps of other companies, I shudder. Also, before he took over safety there was all kinds of wildly unsafe shit that was normal. Nowadays, I am confident in our safety.

It’s a MLB stadium retail job, so everything’s at a pretty high standard.

Worked in a morgue for 13 years and very strict. But it had to be. All kinds of hazardous stuff around.
Now lol safety is "hey Gallos we might do a dive on that side make sure to catch it on camera and try to not get hit."

We make scientific consumables* so our safety and quality standards are pretty high. Safety shoes, lab coats, safety glasses, gloves are all supplied by the company. Regular safety meetings with awards given to people who make major contributions to the process. At our daily department meetings we log potential problems that we can fix before they become actual problems. In ten years I can only remember one major injury (someone lost two fingers) and that led to a complete overhaul of that production line.
* the stuff we make is used by labs for chemical analysis. Like when you give blood at the doctor and they send it to the lab who test it for cholesterol or blood sugar or liver function or drugs or whatever. That lab uses our products to do those tests.

I actually applied to a place like that for short term work a few years ago after having a dry spell with follow ups. The only problem was, was that they weren't upfront about what they actually did, so I ended up doing a phone interview where they basically had me answer a bunch of "I'm okay with _____" questions, which mostly dealt with what could happen, which included punching, spitting, biting, and violent outbursts. I made sure to decline the position when they offered it to me. I appreciate anyone who can do that kind of work, but it is not for me.

My company are really high on health and safety. They're a food manufacturer and use a lot of heavy machinery. Even though I work in office and have never once been in the factory (I don't have the safety equipment for that!), a lot of the health and safety measures still apply. Can't leave the office without wearing a hi vis jacket for one, even just to go to your car or the smoking shelter.
