Okay, so I think it was a Looney Tunes short. It was like Book Revue, only instead of books it was places in the world or something close.

There were many "things come to life" episodes of Merrie Melodies prior to Book Revue, but there were also travelogues, where they'd give a brief description of something, and then the literal would happen. A few that come to mind;
"The Isle of Pingo Pongo" "Cross Country Detours" "Detouring America" "Billboard Frolics" "Aviation Vacation"
There's also "Have You Got Any Castles" and "Lights Fantastic" also might fall under this description.

Hah! Yeah! That be the one. Was just about to search a list of all the episodes Looney Tunes had - found one with pictures so I was gonna just glance through the list until I spotted it. Thanks. edit: I knew it involved a travel agency! Searching for Looney Tunes shorts travel agency did not work at all.

Okay, since that person's riddle got solved, can I pose a similar one? I could've sworn that when I was a little kid I saw Tiny Toon Adventures did a variant on "Book Revue" that was like a video store at night and the characters on VHS tapes came to life.
Did that actually happen, or did my child brain conflate Book Revue with my own personal love of video stores?
