Is there a reason it is elimination and not KotM? Being Slammaversary and the change back to TNA that seems like it should be happening.

It is a little weird it’s not KOTM…but I feel like I prefer elimination? I don’t know why.

If I was guessing on matches I’d say Hardys vs System for the tag titles and Bailey vs Ali for the X. Two matches that should have great crowd heat with ticket sales doing great for this…and Bailey being from Montreal.

I’m really curious who wins that Kazarian vs Santana match.  Because I would bet the farm that Nemeth, Maclin and Hendry move on…and that means they have Moose and 4 babyfaces already.  Feels like a spot for Santana to get screwed and set up a program for him.  But I have no idea with who.  I mean…Hendry could lose for the same reason but he’s so hot right now I wouldn’t do it.  I see 0 chance Swann or Sami make it in.  Even if they wanted to get cute with System or Rascalz interference…I don’t see Swann or Sami making it to the main event right now.  

Maybe Hammerstone is ready to return and he can blast Santana.  Because I like bangers…and that would be a banger.

Plus, 2 more matches were added, as Jordynne Grace will defend the TNA Knockouts World Championship against Ash By Elegance & Mustafa Ali will defend the TNA X-Division Championship against Mike Bailey!

Maybe it's a hot take, but I think TNA should call the show something else next year.

Slammiversary has a very late 90s/early aughts, Vince McMahon era sound to it. I think TNA and the business as a whole are beyond shows titled with wrestling puns now.

Tonight on iMPACT, 3 matches were made official for Slammiversary! First off, Mike Bailey defeated Jonathan Gresham & KUSHIDA to earn a shot at the TNA X-Division Champion, Mustafa Ali! Secondly, AJ Francis retained the TNA Digital Media Championship against Rhino, meaning that he will now defend both that, & the International Wrestling Heavyweight Championship, against PCO! Finally, we found out that ABC will challenge for the TNA World Tag Team Championships! Their opponents will be decided next week, when The System defend the titles against The Hardys, with the winning team defending against ABC!
