Michael Jackson
All they hear is stuff like "He sleeps with young boys" or "He looks like an white woman".
I listen to Michael Jackson's "Bad" Album. Thye dont know Michael could make music. Yes, he hasnt been good in over 10 years, but back in the day he was. And most of his music videos are 10x better than videos put out today.

I'm convinced that the Micheal Jackson skit from Robot Chicken is the truth.

Uhh, a lot of young people and kids were Jackson fans too. Like me. I still appreciate his talent, no doubt one of the greatest performers of the modern era.

I tend to ignore what he did outside of music while listening to him.

The guy can write one heck of a pop song. Which is something that very few can actually do and do it well, and have them stand the test of time. Michael Jackson has done so multiple times. That's all that really matters to me. And the fact that he helped Homer out of the insane asylum, that was cool, too.

I'm convinced that the Micheal Jackson skit from Robot Chicken is the truth. "DAMNIT DAMNIT DAMNIT!!!" "How were we even going to take over the world with a White Michael Jackson anyway?"

No one wants to be defeated. Where's that mashup of Thriller, Bad, and Billie Jean when you need it? Man, that kicked some serious booty.

Young people got every right to be afraid of Michael Jackson for the same reason chickens have every right to be afraid of a fox.

I've been a fan of Michael Jackson since I was in diapers and all that shit they say about him is ridiculous and not true. I'm a fan through and through.
The guy is screwed up, I know, but if we had the life he did, we'd all be the same way. No childhood, abusive father, horribly self-conscious...I'm surprised he turned out the way he did, others woulda just killed themselves.

I'm a fan of 80s Micheal.
But any person shouldn't be let off for any crimes they did, no matter how much good they have done for the music industry.

Unless there's actual evidence as opposed to "oh gee wiz, some kid slept in his bed" brought out, those charges are ridiculous.

I'm not saying he did.
I'm just addressing the fans that think because they like someone that the person is devoid of guilt.
I'm a childhood fan of Jake Roberts, but any crimes he's done I don't automaticly think he's being framed.

Yeah, the story of Michael's childhood, and the effect it had on him as a grown man, is one of the truly tragic ones in show business. So much talent, but so many personal issues that were never confronted.
Nevertheless, he's the "King of Pop" for a reason. If nothing else, if you don't like "Bad", you have no soul.

I too am a big fan of Michael Jackson - the musician. And I believe that you're right about the current generation - although I'm 23, and was just old enough to remember the release of his "Dangerous" album, piquing my curiosity about his earlier music at an early age.
However, as a human being, I believe that the "South Park" episode "The Jeffersons" was dead-on - dude, it's okay if you didn't have a childhood and wanted to live one as an adult, but you have a kid now, so knock it the hell off.
