I've been finding old videos of people shopping at stores from the 90s (some defunct). It's actually the closest we'll get to time travel:
(the user's channel is full of these types of vids)

I never thought I would enjoy watching a man eating crap food in front of a brown sofa as much as I do.
Also, I ended up watching a load of video essays about the history of the various ITV regions' idents. That was a trip. And I now have a bit of a thing for terrible television, especially sitcoms, from the seventies to the nineties.

Ive been into the trucking vlogs where they document their day to day life inside their rig making deliveries and picking up. It's kinda interesting.

I guess a lot of these "People showing how their work is done" stuff, particularly the more manual and creative stuff. A great example of that would be Michaelcthulhu. If you haven't checked his videos yet, my god do I recommend them.
Also, I wasn't expecting to get that much into lengthy reviews of bad books, but here we are. Shoutout to KrimsonRogue in particular for that one.

I think gridiron football is absolutely boring. NFL discussion channels are highly entertaining (especially UrinatingTree's "This Week In Sportsball" video series).

While looking for Jojo's Bizarre Adventure openings and endings, I somehow got into reaction videos. Granted not just any, but when the reactor comes off as genuine or thoughtful, it can reframe something you've watched before.

I also must note that for the past year, I have been watching videos from ItsComplicatedChannel and The Desirable Truth. It's interesting to see people's perspectives on dating. Also, in some ways, those videos make me glad that I am still single.

Since I've fallen in love with shows like Road Wards, Neighborhood Wars, and Customer Wars, the genre of Karen Karma has found its way into my heart. I love seeing terrible people get comeuppance.
There are a few Reddit Thread reading channels I like simply for the voice of the narrators.
The guilty pleasure is channels that use AI to generate "text conversations" where someone does something bad knowingly, it backfires in some way and ruins their life while the protag gets a Happily Ever After. (I refer these as my TeleTube Novelas)

If so, I'd give it a listen. Not to my knowledge, although who knows? Maybe he will in the future. I will say he typically reviews more recent books. He also started with a show called "The book was better" where, as the title suggests, he highlighted the shortcompings of various movies in adapting books and about 5 years ago, he started reviewing books directly, starting with Onision's infamous trilogy of cringe, unintentionally creepy self-inserts. Highly recommend those, as well as Krimson's magnum opus: his 5-parts (yes, FIVE!) review of Empress Theresa, each one over an hour long and well worth the watch/listen. Note that not all of his book reviews are negative as I remember at least one case where he reviewed one by a new author (who is also a YouTuber, I believe) and gives it a throrough review going over the strengths and weaknesses of it and giving the author advice on how to improve future projects.

Every couple of years, I randomly find a clip from that TV show Beyond Cared Straight, and end up binging those videos for a couple of days.
About 4-5 months ago I came across a clip from Judge Judy and spent the next couple of months watching Judge Judy clips every time I sat down to eat a meal.
Now I'm watching TRPG actual plays when I go to bed at night.
