His later output hasn't really resonated with me as much as it used to.
But that's almost entirely due to me being completely out of touch with popular music.
He's incredible live. If you get a chance, GO, he's a national treasure and won't be doing this forever.

Saw him in NYC on his mantitory fun tour and it was easily top 3 most fun shows I've ever experienced live. |

Seen Al 3 times now.
First he was opening for the Monkeees in the mid 80s. Was my 3rd concert and a blast.
Then mid 90s he played the Mobile AL fair. So a pile of us went another good show.
Last time was 2002 or 2003. Stil a blast live.

I'm stoked for this. And I'm with everyone else. SEE HIM LIVE! I was in Indy for the Strings Attached Tour and he did Jurassiku Park. And Tom Lennon showed up to sing along with Yoda.

To give you an idea of how off of the pulse of popular music my finger is, I only recognized Hello We Don't Talk About Bruno Uptown Funk I think there were two other songs I've heard referenced but never actually heard the music of, Despacito (I had to look up the name) and WAP. What rock do you live under that Shake it Off missed you? that damn song was everywhere. Also I think the only song I hadn't heard of was Vampire by Oliva Rodrigo. That said I think Al found the one none filthy part of Despacito |

I also love that Kurt didn’t get the reference when Kathleen Hanna wrote “Kurt smells like Teen Spirit”, thought it would be a perfect title for a song, and stuck to it when the reference was explained to him (Teen Spirit was an antiperspirant marketed to young girls at the time). |

Haven’t seen it mentioned here, but apparently all the different animation styles in the video came from people who have previously done animations for other Weird Al songs. For instance: the Uptown Funk segment was done by the same guy who made animated videos for Albuquerque and Everything You Know Is Wrong almost 20 years ago, and unless I’m mistaken I think the Shape of You portion was from the same guy who did Don’t Download This Song.
