I get the resentment but at this point I think most promotions have had a cash in gimmick, it just gets over and lets a lot of booking flow more freely, as long as they don't treat the person with the shot like shit or even just do it quickly I don't think it'd matter, but I definitely see that being a telegraph if Hangman wins the Gauntlet. But it doesn't! It enables the booking to be really lazy because they can hotshot the title around and build heat inorganically on a thing that has been done genuinely in every single promotion a ton of times already. Hell, AEW literally did it with Copeland/Christian less than a year ago. It just gives companies a really easy out and it would be genuinely pathetic to do that to end their biggest PPV of the year involving a crowning moment of the best wrestler of the 21st century. The smartest thing the WWE has done the last like 20 years is realizing wasting the stupid cash-in on Roman's title reign was a waste of time and recognizing how cheap it would have been. That's all I'm gonna say. Yet WWE still does the cash in gimmick every year, and that aspect of it really devalued it more then anything That being said whether there's a cash in gimmick or not I don't think it happens at the show itself. |

I don't like cash ins. I think it should be that the wrestler can just call their match whenever they want, but they have to call it in advance, not just run down the aisle and do it there and then.

Other than a couple of Osprey T Shirts, there are no individual wrestlers shirts at the merchandise stands.
Just a bunch of match and event shirts.
Nothing like what was in the Cardiff Instagram post that we saw

Bit weird not being at the show this year but interested to see what it looks like on TV live.
Not that I didn’t watch most of last years show on a big screen anyway despite being there. That’s probably the biggest reason I’m not at this years show.
