How big is WWE in terms of brand recognition? Not asking how big the company is. More interested in whether you could mention “WWE” to a random person and they’d understand what it is.

I'd say 8.
Should be higher but some default to wwf or just class everything as wrestling and don't fully realise there's different companies.
Also a weird situation where Wrestlemania probably has higher recognition than wwe as a whole.

Are we including those who still know it as WWF?

9 because there's a giant group of people who still call it WWF. If we're including them easy 10.

I’ll say 10. Between Rock and Cena, most people now know it’s WWE. You have to be pretty tuned out of pop culture to not know it’s not WWF anymore, but you still get the occasional reference.

I’d say an 8.
It’s always been that benchmark. It’s doing all right right now and doing a LOT of cross promoting.
You take in the state of things with media and social network..
Yea, an 8.

The WWE brand is what people associate pro wrestling with. Like when non-fans mention pro wrestling in a casual manner, people say “WWF/WWE” By name. Not “pro-wrestling”

8 or 9. It’s not Disney or Nintendo, but I’d say it’s only slightly below that level

They're obviously not as big as f***ing Disney (that's just delusional and anyone who thinks so needs to touch grass) but I'll still put them at an 8 or 9

Depends on the country. In places like the US and UK I'd be shocked if even 5% of the population didn't know about it. It's like NBA or NFL or the World Cup. Even if you don't watch it you'll have heard of it. There will be some countries though were it might be relatively unknown.

8/10
The name is known by most, but when you look at 10/10 brands like Cola and McDonalds they are known beyond the name. Ask your average joe what the colours or logo are and they know immediately. Ask the regular person on the street what the WWE logo is and I think non-wrestling fans would struggle.
Then go to products--people know Coke, Coke Zero, Big Mac, McChicken etc. How many regular people when asked to name a current WWE wrestler would end up saying "Stone Cold" or "The Undertaker" still? I don't think any will be widely known outside of wrestling fans.
