Knowing most of you out there would never go back to the anntenna, probably impossible at this point in an apartment, but I was thinkin' about the money I spend on basic cable which is really the first upgrade because I live in an unincorporated area and basic basic isn't available....
So taking everything into consideration I have decided to look into going back to 2 FOX,4 NBC,5 CBS,7 ABC, 9 PBS, 20, 36,44(cable 12 UPN) and 64 which another PBS.
With the exception of those horribly splendid VH1 shows I believe most Comedy Central stuff comes out on DVD.
The cable bill per year is $630....Seems like alot to me $50 something a month for Carlos Mencia and and I love New York......
I would still get football, Jeapardy, and the occasional Saturday Night classic rock concert on PBS......
So what do think.......I think I'm ready to go back to the antenna.....

That is why I love Dish. I pay base $40 plus whatever else I buy and still spend less than I did on cable but, with the 'net and DVDs I think I could probably go without cable/dish. It would be hard (I'd miss all the sports and the History Channel) but, it could be done.

Antenna is liveable. In the old days, when Fox had more sitcom syndication, WB and UPN still existed and had all movie weekends. I could go back. But not now.

I'm doing a basic net flix right now which is ten bucks for one at a time roughly every three days if your diligent....The upgrade is like twenty a month for three at a time, and they got tons of History channel.....I don't know may take some more thought but, cable just ain't doin' it for me.
I do not work for net flix.....I'm just saying.....No commercials......except on network......I think I could even get the mexican station.....

I'm on the Antenna. It's alright. I tend to play more video games then I did living at home.

If I can get decent reception I think I wanna try it. At least give six months.
