After a mediocre 3-3 showing last week, let's see how this round goes.
Houston Texans (#4) at Kansas City Chiefs (#1) To be the man, you have to beat the man. Sorry Houston. Not this year. KC 27 Houston 17
Washington Commanders (#6) at Detroit Lions (#1) This *should* be an offensive shootout. Detroit 41 Commanders 35
Los Angeles Rams (#4) at Philadelphia Eagles (#2) I just don't trust Philly here. They should have pasted Green Bay last week from the jump. I know they won by 12, but the game felt oddly closer than that. Rams 24 Philly 20
Baltimore Ravens (#3) at Buffalo Bills (#2) This is the main event of the weekend in the eyes of just about everyone. It's going to overtime. Ravens 38 Bills 35

Prediction time Saturday 4:30 PM Houston Texans (#4) at Kansas City Chiefs (#1): Chiefs win 8:15 PM Washington Commanders (#6) at Detroit Lions (#1): Lions win Sunday 3:00 PM Los Angeles Rams (#4) at Philadelphia Eagles (#2) Fly Eagles Fly 6:30 PM Baltimore Ravens (#3) at Buffalo Bills (#2) Ravens clip the Bills I think you can miss Saturday's games and not miss much. Sunday should be good, with the focus on that heavyweight bout in the evening.

Sunday should be good, with the focus on that heavyweight bout in the evening. Regarding Saturday, I think Washington at Detroit has the potential to be a track meet. You've got two fast-paced, high-octane offenses (nos. 1 and 5 in PPG this season) squaring off in a dome. If nothing else, it should be entertaining even if the final score doesn't reflect that. As for the early Saturday game, Houston will need to play a perfect game to beat Kansas City. Not that this year's Chiefs are world-beaters, because they are a very flawed team with a deceptive 15-2 record, but they're better than the Texans. The only way Houston wins is if Danielle Hunter and Will Anderson Jr. exploit Kansas City's subpar tackles and they're able to run the ball and control the clock on offense to the tune of a 40-20 time of possession. But yes, ultimately these games are all preliminary bouts leading up to Baltimore at Buffalo on Sunday evening.

Idk, I watched Washington against the Falcons and the Bucs and their offense seems very mundane against merely above average teams, and the Lions look like the class of the NFC. I think you spy Daniels and you double McLaurin and whatever they do with their RBs out of the backfield and Ertz you just take it. I think the Lions take it to 'em. I hope Houston shows up and shows out, but man KC is so tough in the playoffs especially at home. And no Tank Dell still, it's gonna be tough.

Hoping the Eagles can take care of business, idk how the defense is gonna look without Dean, but it sounds like Trotter Jr might get the start and I'm very introgued
Can't overlook a Rams team that's clicking, gotta pressure Stafford, and need Saquon to cook against a run defense that's been bad all season
Hoping for the best, as for the other games? I'd love to see the Texans actually make the playoffs interesting but I don't see it happening, Ravens/Bills feels like a genuine Superbowl caliber matchup in the Divisional Round, and Detroit also can't overlook the Commanders, that could be a shootout
Im thinking, and also hoping, this round has more fun games then the previous lol

Something that probably needs to be talked about is how tired the Chiefs were, how having nearly 3 weeks off should matter a ton..
But the biggest thing here that everyone on that team knows is, this postseason is to be the greatest dynasty of all time.
On top of that we have Kareem Hunt and his redemption arc, how bad he was broken from the Chiefs releasing him to it coming full circle...or DeAndre Hopkins and probably his only chance at a ring.

My picks went 4-2 last weekend. It would've been 5-1 had I not changed my Vikings-Rams pick at the last minute.
- Kansas City 20, Houston 16: The Chiefs are a deeply flawed team, but as I said earlier this week, the Texans would need to be just about perfect to go into Arrowhead and leave with a victory. I think they'll keep it close, because their strengths can exploit Kansas City's weaknesses, but they just don't have enough to advance.
- Detroit 38, Washington 31: Again, going back to what I said earlier this week, I expect this one to be a track meet. Both teams boast high-octane, fast-paced offenses and this could be one of those games where one turnover decides the entire thing.
- Los Angeles Rams 23, Philadelphia 17: Philadelphia did not look great against the Packers last Sunday, despite winning by 12. Meanwhile, the Rams' defense has been clicking on all cylinders, allowing single-digit points in four of the last five weeks. They'll need to be that dominant defense to withstand Saquon Barkley, but I think the formula is there for the Rams to go into Philly and dictate the pace of the game.
- Buffalo 31, Baltimore 27: The marquee game of the weekend should live up to the hype. Obviously, if Baltimore runs the ball like they did against Pittsburgh, they can control the clock and minimize Josh Allen's chances to air it out. But the way Buffalo flipped the switch in the second half against Denver shows that even if you hold them down for a half, that's still not enough.

Per-dictions. Went 4-2 last week. Let’s keep the mediocre times going:
Kansas City over Houston. Yes, Houston got off the deck and gave Harbaugh and Co. a thrashing. This time, though, they’re on the road and going up against the golden God himself. A well-rested KC team beats Houston by either 16 or they sleepwalk their way to a close victory. Either way, Chiefs win lol.
Lions over Commanders: Shootout city. Commanders can’t stop a nosebleed and the Lions are banged up on all phases of their defense, and they’re prone to excessive penalties in their defensive backfield. Too many weapons for Washingnton’s D to contend with and keep up with. Combined points should be over 60 here.
Philadelphia over L.A.: If there’s one thing I know about the scumbag Eagles it’s that they stop teams running on momentum dead in their tracks. And if that’s not enough, consider that it’ll be cold and snowy down in Philly, a far cry from the friendly confines of Glendale. Low scoring contest that the Eagles will pull out with Saquon leading the charge.
Baltimore over Buffalo: This game is a toss-up, and I’m going with the combo of Jackson/Henry over Allen/Cook because of the Bills run defense issues that always rears its ugly head in January. After that, I think this game is going to come down to which QB plays hero-ball less, and in this case, I think Lamar will have learned his lesson. Off to Kansas City, and off to another disappointing offseason for the bridesmaid Bills.

I want a shitty teams tournament, like the NIT.
We could have the Panthers at the Jets, Cowboys at the Saints, Giants at the Patriots, etc.

All the hate makes the contrarian in me want to see PHI stop the "Team of Destiny" in their tracks.
I know the LA community needs the win because of the wildfires, but no storybook ending this time.
I don't care if this makes me an evil person.

I don't care if this makes me an evil person. I'm a (admittedly pretty casual) Rams fan and I think most of America would rather have a ringless team reach the summit, which is fair because Super Bowl LVI wasn't that long ago. But ultimately I expect the Eagles to stomp the Rams and for the Chiefs to somehow win SB LIX.
