🔵 Smackdown Thread 8/8/2025 - On The Rhodes Again

The WWE World Championship is on The Rhodes again! Cody Rhodes! He will be in the building tonight (the Bell Centre in Montreal) and, in all likelihood, will want to talk about his big win at SummerSlam, unless the audience can convince him otherwise. (He will ask them such, so, who knows.)

Someone else who will want to talk about something big from SummerSlam: John Cena. His last time in Montreal is advertised as him wanting to discuss Brock Lesnar and his borking at the hands of the big Canadian beast.

The only other thing advertised tonight is The Motor City Machine Guns vs Talla Tonga and JC Mateo of the MFTs. (Really, do y'all need anything else? MOTOR CITYYYYYY!)

Will be interesting to see what the live reaction towards Brock is tonight as opposed to this past Sunday.

Cena just being a face again after all that just feels so f***ing lame, like I know it was inevitable to end his career as a face so the crowd could cheer him, but that whole run outside of the Punk stop felt like a waste imo
