The hunter in the movie was also played by his dad. Kind of odd I'd say.
At the end, he goes "back into time" to before the game had started.......
It just seems to me that Robin Williams character was just going through immense stress from his parents and schoolmates that he developed a psychological disorder, and the whole "jungle" and "jumanji" chapters of his life were all made up in his head.
Discuss.

To quote the Great Brian Cox: "I'll believe that when my s*** turns purple and smells like Rainbow Sherbert."

Who cares.

Nah, I don't think that's what the movie was going for.

one of his quotes was "I'm that little boy"
not that he grew up, but because he still is a little boy.

I thoght it was when the game is finished, EVERYTHING goes back to before the game was played, even time, but you remember.

ya but then why would the hunter be his dad, and a psychological disorder makes more sense than a game turning back time

I like the idea that it was all in his head alot better, but seems that reversing time was probably what actually happened. But in some ways that irked me. You grow to be around 40, then you play the board game again to become a kid once more. Which means you have go through growing up all over again. For some reason that creeped me out.

I think the ending of the movie negates this theory.
