Ace Frehley - New York Groove
KISS - God Gave Rock & Roll To You II
Sadly, a good majority of Dylan covers are better just because Bob is so damn hard to understand half the time.

Billy Idol, "Mony Mony" (Tommy James and the Shondells) Really? Where he says "ride the pony"? Whatever... I'll say "Secret Agent Man" by Devo.

Nonpoint and Alien Ant Farm as have been said.
Also, I like the Ataris "Boys of Summer" better than the original.
And I know I'm going to catch all kinds of hell for this one, but i like Limp Bizkit's "Behind Blue Eyes" better.

Marilyn Manson's cover of "Personal Jesus" gets my vote.
And I second Cash's version of "Hurt".
And Korn's "Word Up" **Runs out of thread**

I'll definitely third Hurt.
And Manson's version of Personal Jesus is equal with Depeche Mode's in my mind.

The Zoo - Bruce Dickinson (Originally recorded by the Scorpions)
Dickinson's voice just lends itself to that song...the air raid siren wail of his vibrato just absolutely makes that song for me.
Balls to the Wall - Fozzy (Originaly recorded by Accept)
I realize this is pretty much a verbatim cover, but my god...the volume and guitar tone, and Mongoose McQueen's ballsy vocals kick it up the extra notch for me...the proverbial "This one goes to eleven! Eleven is more!" kind of thing.
Helter Skelter - Motley Crue (Originally recorded by the Beatles)
My dislike for most of the Beatles' catalogue aside, Motley Crue have the attitude down pat for this kind of tune. The Beatles did it well, no doubts, but the Crue really kicked it's ass into the ground for that.
