Hulk defeats Angel easily --------------------------- Next up an abscure villain vs a favorite, perhaps an upset??... Sugarman - He is a mutant villain appearing in the Marvel Comics universe. Sugar Man initially appeared during the Age of Apocalypse, an event which caused the history of the Marvel Universe to diverge from its usual path. Although many Age of Apocalypse characters were alternate versions of existing heroes and villains, Sugar Man does not appear to have an Earth-616 counterpart. Sugar Man is a mutant who possesses four arms, a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth, and a tongue of indeterminate length that is able to pierce anything, including stone, steel, and even beings in gaseous or liquid form. He is also able to control his own mass. If he loses mass, the lost mass is shunted off to some unknown location, presumably an extra-dimensional space and he shrinks in size. It's unknown how he regains his normal size. Recently he has been contacted by Beast for information to reverse the effects of M-Day. vs Doctor Doom - A brilliant scientist, Doom was once a classmate of the Fantastic Four's Reed Richards. However, he became embittered by facial scars received from an experiment gone wrong, a failure which he attributed to Richards, beginning's Doom rivalry and obsession with the Fantastic Four leader. Doom is considered the archenemy of the Fantastic Four, but has also been added to the rogue galleries of the Avengers, the Silver Surfer, the Hulk, Captain America, the X-Men, Nick Fury, Iron Man, and Spider-Man, among many others. Doom has also faced villains like Magneto and Venom. He even confronted Superman in a Marvel/DC crossover in 1981. He is one of the comic book industry's most recognizable and archetypal supervillains. His ruling of the small nation of Latveria provides him with diplomatic immunity, a ingenious plot device never used before in comics. Doctor Doom is driven by three principal objectives :The destruction of Reed Richards, :World domination & :The liberation of his mother's soul from the demon Mephisto's realm. He has so far achieved two of these aims. With the help of Doctor Strange, Earth's Sorcerer Supreme, he wrested his mother's spirit from Mephisto; a vital step in this process was tricking his mother into renouncing her love for Victor. He has also achieved world domination more than once, though various reasons always end his reign. Despite his despotic nature Doom is man of his word and great honor. Sugarman is very underated as a bad guy, but I don't like him enough to vote over Doom. Dr. Doom has my vote.

I always found Doom to be overrated and Sugarman looks cooler to me anyway so I vote Sugarman.

Doom destroys Sugarman 4-1 -------------------------- Last one from me today ... Jesse Custer - He is the protagonist of the comic book series Preacher. Jesse is a small-town reverend who becomes fused with a powerful entity named Genesis, gifting him with the ability to order people to do whatever he commands. Using this power, he begins a journey of discovery and revenge across America, with the aim of forcing God to answer to his creation for his sins. Assisting Jesse in his travels is Tulip O'Hare, his gun-wielding girlfriend, and Proinsias Cassidy, a hard-drinking Irish vampire. Jesse is a loyal devotee to the Western film genre (best epitomized by the guiding spirit of John Wayne, whom only Jesse sees), an accomplished fist-fighter, and a cunning strategist. His tragic flaw perhaps is his strict observance of his code of honor. vs Hawkman - Carter Hall is a DC Comics superhero, the original Hawkman. The Nth Metal in Hawkman's belt, harness, and boots is controlled mentally and allows him to defy gravity. His wings allow him to control flight, though they can be "flapped" through use of shoulder motions. Hall's Nth metal also enhances his strength and eye-sight, speeds healing, and regulates body temperature, preventing the need for heavy protective clothing while flying at high altitudes. Nth metal is known to affect electromagnetism as well as the strong and weak forces of the universe, but only if one has the knowledge of how to use it in those ways. He is an expert with a wide array of archaic weapons from his past lives, including battle axes, maces, swords, spears and shields. He has been characterized in comics as having a quick, fierce temper with adamant views and opinions. Even in the Golden Age, he had no problem blowing up a villain's lair with the villain inside. At the same time, Carter finds it difficult to balance the "savage barbarian" of his past lives with the "gentleman" of his current incarnation. Jesse Custer has my vote for being a badass, Hawkman is kind of meh.

Hawkman, since I'm not a big fan of Preacher. Also, I'm pissed that one of my favorite X-Men, The Angel, got completely squashed.

I guess Hawkman, I never was a huge fan of the Preacher series. I liked Sandman Chronicles and Constantine better.
