Hawkman takes out Jesse Custer ---------------------------------- Next up ... Mirror Master - A supervillain in the DC universe. He is a recurring foe of the Flash with large technical knowledge and skills involving the use of mirrors. Four individuals have donned the guise of Mirror Master. The current Mirror Master is Evan McCulloch who lives in Keystone City, and comes into conflict with the third Flash. He discovered a "Mirror Dimension" which enables him to travel through any reflective surface. During the events of Underworld Unleashed, the Rogues had accepted him as Scudder's successor. After being betrayed by the devil Neron, McCulloch and four of the other Rogues died and went to Hell, but returned later due to a confrontation between Neron and the Flash. For a brief time, McCulloch then joined Lex Luthor's Injustice Gang and fought the Justice League of America. He is also a cocaine addict. vs The Shadow King - He is a Marvel Comics supervillain and enemy of the X-Men. An unnamed mutant, the Shadow King possesses vast telepathic powers. He became a crime lord under the name Amahl Farouk in Cairo, Egypt, leading a street gang that included a young Storm. Future X-Men founder Charles Xavier encountered Farouk and the two engaged in a psychic battle that trapped Farouk out of his body. The Shadow King is a disembodied persona on the astral plane, where he can take possession of the bodies of others and battle other telepaths in astral form. More recently he is fighting with Excalibur and Psylocke who possibly killed him. The Shadow King has my vote, for being big and evil on the astral plane.

The Shadow King destroys Mirror Master's mind. ---------------------------------- Up next a real rivalry ... The Absorbing Man - Carl "Crusher" Creel) is a villain that appears in the Marvel Universe. He is a jailed criminal who becomes the Absorbing Man when he drinks a liquid which the Asgardian god Loki laced with rare Asgardian ingredients. Discovering that he could absorb the properties of anything he touched, Creel promptly escaped prison and went on to battle Thor. Although he is only mortal, Creel's fantastic abilities make him a match for Thor, who eventually tricks Creel into transforming into helium, which drifts harmlessly into the atmosphere. Crusher Creel has the power to absorb the properties of anything he touches, be it a solid, gas, liquid, or even energy. This also extends to the clothing and ball and chain that he was wearing when the liquid he drank took effect. For example, if Creel were to touch and hold a piece of titanium, the tissues of his body, clothing and his ball and chain would take on the appearance and properties of titanium. Creel also retains his intellect and capacity for speech and full physical movement regardless of the material he absorbs. Creel's overall power increases in direct proportion to the strength of the material absorbed. Hence, Thor is careful not to bring his hammer Mjolnir into direct contact with him. There appears to be no limit to what Creel can absorb, as he has absorbed the properties of steel, silk, bronze, rock, wood, soil, glass, spikes, Odin's cosmic bolt and later cyclonic storm, Asgard itself, water, light, Uru, diamond, and cocaine. Creel is also a formidable hand to hand brawler, but his one great weakness is that, like the Wrecker, he is something of a thug and not a thinker. Several of the heroes have outsmarted him; on one occasion the hero Daredevil allows Creel to absorb the properties of a diamond, subsequently using his radar sense to precisely target the flaws in Creel's diamond form. vs Thor - He is a superhero appearing in the Marvel Comics universe. Thor is noble and very self-assured, sometimes to the point of arrogance. Odin decides his son needs to be taught humility and consequently places Thor (without memories of godhood) into the body and memories of an existing, partially disabled human medical student, Donald Blake. After becoming a doctor and thoroughly believing himself to be the young surgeon Blake, with his weak leg teaching him that one can only be strong by overcoming weakness, he later discovers Thor's disguised hammer and learns to change back and forth into the Thunder God. The real Blake's persona remains until many years later, after Odin becomes satisfied of Thor's humility and lifts the spell, transferring the enchantment to the hammer of his ally, Beta Ray Bill, the first person he met who was capable of lifting the hammer by defeating Thor in combat. As a result, Thor no longer possesses a mortal alter ego. The mortal experience, however, shapes Thor into an honorable and courteous individual, who is loyal to all comrades. With the aid of Nick Fury, Public Director of SHIELD, Thor adopted a new "secret identity", in the form of construction worker Sigurd Jarlson, although this new identity simply consisted of Thor dressed as a normal contemporary Earthman while wearing glasses. Thor is the Norse god of thunder and lightning. Like all Asgardians, Thor is not truly immortal but relies upon periodic consumption of the Golden Apples of Idun to sustain his lifespan, which to date has lasted many millennia. The strongest of the Norse gods, Thor has performed feats such as lifting the World Serpent, lifting and hurling the Odinsword, an extra-dimensional object of incredible power, through a Celestial. Thor possesses two items that assist him in combat: the Belt of Strength and his mystical hammer Mjolnir. The first item doubles Thor's strength, while the second is used for flight; weather control; energy projection and absorption; dimensional control; matter manipulation and the most powerful of Thor's offensives, the God Blast and the Anti-Force. Well it's Thor isn't it? Thor has my vote for being Thor. Bye bye Absorbing Man.

Thor. One of the only heroes (if not the only) to have a religion based solely off of him in an alternate Marvel universe.

Thor once again defeats The Absorbing Man! ---------------------------------- Up next it's a big match between major villains!! Apocalypse - A comic book supervillain in the Marvel Comics Universe. An immortal, over 5,000-years old, he is one of the oldest mutants in the world, and often claims to be the first one. He was born in ancient Egypt under the name En Sabah Nur ("The First One"). After his mutant power awakened, and taking the name of Apocalypse, he appeared throughout history as a death god in several ancient mythologies. He seeks to remake the world to fit his extreme Social Darwinist eugenic philosophy: only the fittest have the right to survive — and he gets to define who is fittest. Apocalypse is generally represented as one of the most powerful mutants in the Marvel Universe, possessing the ability to both shift and alter his mass and form. He was bonded with Celestial technology, increasing all of his mutant powers, and granting him other abilities. In the late 20th and early 21st centuries AD, when mutants became a sizable part of the human population, Apocalypse would become most active, seeing it as a perfect time to utilize his goal, viewing mutants as the stronger race that is destined to inhabit the world instead of normal humans. This soon would lead him into conflict with the superhero group the X-Men, and they would find themselves involved in various schemes of his. He is also most often accompanied by four servants, the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse, a nod to the Horsemen of the Book of Revelation, and named after each. The posing threat and determined goals of Apocalypse, have almost lead to the total annihilation of the world in story arcs such as The Age of Apocalypse and The Twelve, making him one of the most feared and powerful opponents of the X-Men. Recently he has been gathering followers in the wake of the Decimation of M-Day believing he is to be the Mutant's messiah, whether this is true or not remains to be seen. vs Brainiac - A DC Comics supervillain and frequent opponent of Superman. Due to complex storylines involving time travel, cloning, and revisions of DC's continuity, several variations of Brainiac have appeared. Brainiac has been one of Superman's most important enemies ever since the villain's first appearance, and is responsible for shrinking Kandor, the capital city of Superman's home planet Krypton which the hero has vowed to restore. Though at his core Brainiac is formless, most incarnations depict him as a bald, green-skinned alien android from the planet Colu, and one of the most intelligent villains in the DC universe, capable of possessing others, creating and manipulating computer systems, and exerting some control over time and space. Brainiac's name derives from the -IAC naming trend among early electronic computers, after ENIAC: ILLIAC, JOHNNIAC, MANIAC, SILLIAC, etc. Over the years he continued to plague Superman, using a combination of mental powers and computer control, on one occasion he began to shrink cities. Recently Brainiac revealed he had placed a sleeper virus in Lexcorp's Y2K bug safeguards. This was intended to dramatically boost his abilities. Instead it allowed Brainiac 13 (Who looks similar to the Animated Justice league Brainiac) to arrive from the 64th century. Apocalypse has my vote as he's been a great nemisis to mutants since his creation, while Braniac various incarnations and retooling have made him a bit hit and miss.

Apocalypse decimates Brainiac ---------------------- Next it's a possible mis-match ... Annihilus - Sometimes called the Living Death That Walks, is a Marvel Comics supervillain. Untold millennia ago, the Tyannans, a technologically-advanced semi-humanoid/leonine species of the anti-matter universe the Negative Zone, seeded barren worlds with life spores. A freak meteor collision hurled one of their ships into the volcanic planet Arthros, where the crew released their spores before starving to death. Many generations later, one of those spores evolved into a weak insectoid creature. Significantly intelligent due to a mutation, the creature found the Tyannan starship wreckage and used a knowledge transference helmet to master the advanced Tyannan technology. This enhanced his intelligence and strength, creating a "Cosmic Control Rod" and body armaments. Obsessed with survival, the paranoid creature, who came to be known as Annihilus, set out to destroy any other living being he viewed as a possible threat to his existence. In the past he usually fights the Fantastic Four but has tangled with most space faring heroes. Recently he led the Annihilation Wave, an enormous fleet of Negative Zone battleships, ostensibly claimed to have the goal of conquering the universe. He claims that the universe is expanding into areas of the Negative Zone, making the universe now rightfully his territory. His forces have already destroyed the Kyln, an intergalactic power station and maximum security prison, and the planet Xandar, headquarters of the Nova Corps. Annihilus actual goal was creating a massive Power Cosmic bomb with which to destroy the Universe and the Negative zone, leaving Annihilus the only survivor. Nova eventually succeds in killing him, yet Ravenous (His general) is seen taking a newborn egg for one of the last surviving queen insects, and holding a fetal looking bug in it, proclaiming "THE LORD ANNIHILUS LIVES!" During The annihlation wave he succeded in killing/destroying the Kyln, The Nova Corps, The Super Skrull, Quasar, 90% of all Skrull Planets and countless billions of many races. vs The Chameleon - A Marvel Comics supervillain, an enemy of Spider-Man. The Chameleon is a spy and master of disguise. Throughout his history, he has used a variety of traditional, high-tech and biologically enhanced ways to change his appearance, believably imitating almost anyone. He was also the ally, servant, and half-brother of fellow Spider-Man adversary Kraven the Hunter. Aside from his shapeshifting advantages, the Chameleon is a brilliant method actor. He also speaks several languages fluently. Although the Chameleon is not a scientific genius, during his increased lifespan he has been exposed to a wide array of sophisticated experimental technology, much of which he can apply effectively in his nefarious schemes. Despite that cool picture the Chameleon is not that exciting. Annihilus on the other hand is a truly terrifying villain. Annihilus has my vote.
