Cursive - The Ugly Organ Can't stress how great this cd is. That is one of my favorite cds ever, but I never saw it so much as a concept album, just Tim Kasher, being Tim Kasher. Every album he makes has a theme. The Good Life's "album of the year" is the same way.

Hey, Music from the Edge of Heaven was one Hell of an album. We never got that one released over here. You didn't? Why's that? Wham! was much bigger in the UK

We never got that one released over here. You didn't? Why's that? Wham! was much bigger in the UK From Wikipedia: Music from The Edge of Heaven was the 1986 effort of British pop duo Wham!. The album was actually a single LP version of The Final which was released in the UK. Most of the songs appear on that release. Music from The Edge of Heaven is notable for containing the 12" remix of "I'm Your Man", whch appeared in its 7" form on The Final. "Wham Rap '86" and "Blue" were previously available as b-sides. The LP was only released in the Americas and Japan.

The UK version of the Final does contain the 12inch version of I'm Your Man, but only if you get the vinyl version (it's the 7inch on the CD).

Although it kinda sucks that they couldn't do just one version of a greatest hits/b-sides album.

MY favorite is probably "Trainwreck" By Boys Night Out, with good old "De-Loused in the Comatorium" By The Mars Volta in a close second.

Box set a few years back, that contained the lps on gold vinyl and came with a tshirt, calendar, notepad and pencil-mighta been called the final

![](http://images.jambase.com/merch/B00009V7T2.jpg) The Mars Volta - De-Loused In The Comatorium Here's the description from Wikipedia... De-Loused in the Comatorium is the first LP and concept album by the progressive rock band The Mars Volta. Based on a short story by lead singer Cedric Bixler-Zavala, and sound manipulation artist Jeremy Michael Ward, it is the hour-long tale of Cerpin Taxt, a man who tries to kill himself by overdosing on morphine. The attempt lands him in a week-long coma during which he experiences visions of humanity and his own psyche. Upon waking, he is dissatisfied with the real world and jumps to his death. The story of Cerpin Taxt is based on the death of El Paso, Texas artist (and Bixler-Zavala's friend) Julio Venegas. Coincidentally, one month before the album was released, the band's sound manipulation artist, Jeremy Michael Ward, died of an apparent heroin overdose.
