It's official. Tonight, Stephen was informed by the South Carolina Democratic Party that he was not accepted onto the ballot in the SC primaries, thus ending his bid to become president of South Carolina. But on the plus side, he gets his $2500 check back, he has a year's supply of Dorito's, and there's still a chance to make this dream team Happen.

I LMAO when I read that one of the State Democrat council members of SC complained that allowing Colbert on the ballot would be a "mockery" of the political process.

Nah, the point of this is not to win, but merely to highlight the absurdities of the so-called "serious" candidates.
Why can't he do that as someone non aligned with the political parties?
He wouldn't even need to campaign. Merely appearing in debates would give him a platform to mock them.
