34: Kodos Possibly what sparked Matt Groening's idea for Futurama, Kodos (and his brother, Kang) were introduced in the very first Treehouse of Horror as aliens who abducted the Simpsons and fed them until they were fat. Thanks to Lisa and her suspicious ways, though, the aliens grew offended and returned them home before bringing them to their home planet of Rigel VII. Along with Kang, Kodos makes annual appearances in the Treehouse of Horror episodes, mostly in cameo form. Random note: Konds impersonated Bill Clinton during the 1996 presidential election and lost.

33: Santa's Little Helper Every family needs a dog, and when primetime television was introduced to the Simpsons outside of the Tracey Ullman show, they wasted little time in finding one. Santa's Little Helper was introduced to the world in the very first episode of The Simpsons. It was the night before Christmas and Homer and Bart were trying to win some cash at Springfield Downs. Instead, they found Santa's Little Helper, who was disowned by it's previous owner. Initially, Helper displayed traits that were typical amongst dogs. He would gnaw on any random object (including a $100-pair of Assassin shoes) and sniff other dogs' butts. He once ran away, although that was because the family was mad at him, and landed in the hands of Mr. Burns, briefly working as a guard dog. Santa's Little Helper played roles in other significant events, such as getting Principal Skinner fired and impregnating another racing dog, She's The Fastessed, and borning 25 puppies. He also fathered a liter of puppies with Dr. Hibbert's dog. He also gets along well with the family's other pet, a cat named Snowball II, and once paired up with her to win the family's attention from new pet, Stampy the elephant. Random Note: Even though he's just a dog, Santa's Little Helper was a suspect in Mr. Burn's shooting. Identified at one point as the Simpson Mutt, his initials properly matched the significant S&M clue.

Actually, Kodos is female.
Another fact about Lovejoy is his rivalry with the snooty Episcopalians.

I can't believe the characters making the list....

32: Uter Like many characters, Uter was never meant to be around long. His first appearance was simply as a throwaway joke, in a Treehouse of Horror episode no less. But soon enough, the foreign exchange student from Germany would stick around for the long run in all his delicious candy goodness. His greatest running gag came in the form of his love for chocolate. This was evident when he asked Homer to stop chasing him because he was "full of chocolate" and when he "begged" school officials to look at his diorama of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" first. Unfortunately, their refusal to look at if led to this: Tragedy struck on a field trip when members of a Civil War re-enactment chased down the Springfield Elementary Students, and Uter was left behind, only to be mobbed on. Later on, his parents visited Springfield and demanded Principal Skinner explain where their son had disappeared to. Random note: Uter is apparently immune to the effects of iodine, having eaten candy laced with it.

I can't believe the characters making the list.... Touche on the error. And we're still early in the list, so please be patient. The one other thing I will apologize for is the content on my "character profiles." But in my defense, a lot of these people have big histories that I dare not summarize completely. I'm generalizing here, folks.

31: Lisa *Sigh*, Where to start? I'm feeling lazy now and doing a profile of Lisa would be too much work. So I'll simply say that Lisa is the older of the two Simpsons girls, is very intelligent and has higher morals than the rest of her family. She occasionally appears to act older than she is, but is also seen as a typical girl her age. Oh, and apparently a bunch of the Wrestlecrap forum members aren't too fond of her, what with her always nagging and preaching to the family. Random note: Lisa was smarter than the Springfield Police Department and managed to solve the mystery of Who Shot Mr. Burns.

Okay everyone, I'm done for the night as far as this countdown goes. Here are hints for the next five.
- A big fan of Dr. Who. - Likely patterned after Jerry Lewis. - Shelton Benjamin? Ron Simmons? - Maggie's real father. - Known for saying one specific word.

Autumn Austin. However, she is not a Simpsons character. Though she's certainly Tops in my mind.

That "yessssssssss" guy creeps me out. He isn't gonna be on the list...I hope.
I'm hoping for a Wiggum one and two, with the Chief in top spot!
