Taskmaster takes out Diablo ---------------------------- Up next ... Kaine - A marvel supervillain and foe of spiderman. Kaine is the Jackal's first temporary success at cloning Peter Parker, but the cloning process was flawed. As a result he is left deformed and mentally unstable, but also more physically powerful than Spider-Man, as well as possessing a low-grade precognition (An enhanced version of a spider-sense). He also possesses a "Mark of Kaine," a corrosive touch that he uses to leave eaten away hand prints on his victims' faces. Professor Warren discards Kaine because the clone starts showing early signs of the degeneration process, and Kaine experiences a strong feeling of rejection similar to that between a father and son. As an imperfect clone of Spider-Man, Kaine has superhuman strength, speed, agility, reflexes and equilibrium all at higher levels than Spider-Man due to his continued mutation. vs Clayface - Clayface is a name used by several DC Comics fictional characters, most of them possessing clay-like bodies and shapeshifting abilities. All of them have been enemies of Batman. The original Clayface, Basil Karlo, was a b-movie actor who began a life of crime using the identity of a villain he portrayed in a horror film. Matt Hagen, a treasure hunter given vast shapeshifting powers and resiliency by radioactive protoplasm, became the new Clayface. He retained the title for the next twenty-five years of comic book history. After Hagen’s death, Preston Payne became the third Clayface. A scientist suffering from hyperpituitarism, Payne used Hagen's blood to create a cure but became a clay-like creature that needed to pass his condition onto others to survive. Sondra Fuller, of Strike Force Kobra, used the terrorist group’s technology to become the fourth Clayface, also known as Lady Clay. She formed the Mud Pack with Karlo, Payne and a reanimated Hagen. During this era, Karlo used the DNA of Payne and Fuller to become the most powerful Clayface, often considered the current and ultimate incarnation of the villain. Clayface has my vote here. Dammed clones, what a mess, lol

Kaine. Yes, yes, I know, he's one of the clones, and they sucked, but I was never a huge fan of Clayface, even though he's a well written character.

Clayface defeats Kaine ------------------------- This one should be good ... Green Goblin - The Green Goblin is a Marvel Comics supervillain and an archenemy of Spider-Man. The first, current, and best-known Green Goblin is the alter ego of industrialist Norman Osborn. A serum that grants Osborn superhuman strength also drives him insane. Osborn adopts a Halloween themed appearance, dressing in a goblin costume and using an arsenal of high-tech weapons, notably grenade-like "Pumpkin Bombs" and a bat-shaped "goblin glider" to terrorize New York City. Ironically, his troubled son Harry is a close friend of Peter Parker, who is secretly Spider-Man. Having much impact in Spider-Man's life, the Green Goblin is perhaps the wall-crawler's greatest enemy. In there most famous battle, the Goblin commits one of his most brutal crimes, by pushing a kidnapped Gwen Stacy from a bridge. Spider-Man's attempt to save her fails, and Gwen is killed. With blood in his eyes, Spider-Man pursues the Green Goblin for revenge, but manages to control himself after defeating him in battle. In a final attempt to kill him, the Goblin tries to spear Spider-Man with his remote control glider, only to be himself impaled by the glider's sharp points when Spider-Man avoids the attack. Norman Osborn was presumed dead. He has since come back to torment Spider-Man and is repsonsible fro many of the large storylines that revolve around him (The Clone Saga, The public turning on Spider-Man etc). Norman's son Harry has also been the Green Goblin as well as a fair few others who have taken up the costume, usually while Norman himself has been out of action or assumed dead. While the Hobgoblin is based apon the original design. vs Doctor Strange - Steven Strange is a comic book sorcerer and superhero in the Marvel Comics Universe. He is the Sorcerer Supreme of the Marvel Universe, responsible for defending it from mystic threats. He is a master of the mystic arts, using his abilities to battle evil magicians and other supernatural villains. He is also often consulted by other superheroes on supernatural matters. Stephen becomes an accomplished, but arrogant, surgeon until he suffers subtle, though profound, neurological damage in an automobile accident in 1963. His hands in particular are no longer able to make the precise, fine movements necessary for surgery, although their overall mobility remains. Unable to continue his profession and too proud to accept subordinate medical assignments, he becomes unemployed and destitute. He is reduced to being a derelict, performing shady medical procedures for little money. Learning of a hermit called the Ancient One who might possibly cure him, the desperate Strange ventures to the man's isolated Himalayan abode and asks him for aid. The Ancient One instead offers to take Strange on as an apprentice in the mystic arts. Strange refuses, but cannot leave immediately due to a sudden blizzard. While staying for the duration of the storm, Strange witnesses the Ancient One's apprentice, Baron Mordo, secretly attack the teacher with mystically summoned skeletons, which the old man easily dispells. Strange, his skepticism eroding, confronts Mordo about the treachery but Mordo responds with restraining spells that keep Strange from warning the Ancient One or attacking Mordo physically. Amazed by these displays of magic, alarmed by Mordo, but frustrated by the mystic restraints, Strange undergoes a change of heart. Deciding that the only way to stop Mordo is to learn magic himself in order to challenge Mordo on his terms, Strange accepts the Ancient One's offer. Pleased by Strange's acceptance for unselfish reasons, the Ancient One removes the mystic restraints, explaining that he is well aware of Mordo's treachery but prefers to keep Mordo close by in order to control and possibly change him. Dr. Strange is the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth's Universe. He has unparalleled mastery of the mystic arts, which he uses to defend this reality from otherworldly threats. His primary magical patrons are a group of entities known as "the Vishanti", a trinity of godly beings composed of Agamotto, Hoggoth and Oshtur with which he calls out ot when conjuring spells an example of this would be, "By the Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth". For me I'm voting Dr. Strange it's all wierd and crazy with him! Of all Spidey's villains I feel Green Goblin gets far too much attention, why can't Norman just stay dead.
