Green Goblin as Norman Osbourne. the voice of Wilem Dafoe and the guy who did GG in the Spiderman Animated Series made me really love this villian and the charchter has so much substance and importance and is Probaly the best psychotic villian next to The Joker, plus no marvel villian is as terrifying to me as the Green Goblin. Some might be stronger and some might be more intelligent but no villian other than Joker or Scarecrow can create as much fear around him.

tough one, but I gotta go with Dr. Strange. Green Goblin's way too inconsistently written.

Doctor Strange sees off the Green Goblin -------------------------------- Next it's obscure time again .... Witchblade - Sara Pezzini is a comic book superheroine and the main character of the comic book Witchblade. She is a homicide detective for the NYPD. Her life changed when she came into contact with a powerful ancient weapon known as the Witchblade, which bestows its wielder with impressive powers. Sara Pezzini was born November 18, 1970, and is of Italian descent. Her major enemies are Jackie Estacado, Kenneth Irons (whom she briefly dated before discovering his evil nature), and Ian Nottingham. Sara has above average intelligence, and is very athletic. She has police training in hand-to-hand combat, weapons, and tactics. Sara's favorite weapons include various firearms and the Witchblade. As the current wielder of the Witchblade, Sara has been granted many unique abilities, including the power to heal herself, to create armor over her skin (as the Witchblade tends to rip away all of her clothes), to shoot energy blasts, and to extend razor sharp tendrils. She has yet to explore the full limits of the Witchblade, and thus does not know what other mystical abilities it possesses. When not overly active, the Witchblade can assume the form of a bracelet, allowing her to wear the weapon without drawing attention. The Witchblade is a sentient artifact; as such, Sara does not have complete control over its actions and reactions. vs Mister Mxyztplk - (roughly pronounced Miks-yez-pit-lik, or "Mix-yez-pittle-ik", also nicknamed Mxy) is a fictional supervillain who appears in DC Comics' Superman comic books. an imp from the "fifth dimension". Not being bound by our physical laws, he can do things that seem to be magical. In his first appearance, Mxyztplk wreaks havoc across Metropolis by using his powers to pull all manner of pranks. What's more, he destroys Superman's worldview of himself. Mxyztplk jumps out a window, fooling Superman into thinking Mxyztplk is committing suicide. When he appears unharmed, an astonished Superman exclaims "I — I thought I was the only man who could fly!!" Mxyztplk soon tells Superman that he is a jester in his home dimension, explaining why he uses his powers to play practical jokes. Originally, Mxyztplk has designs on conquering the planet for himself, but soon settles for tormenting Superman whenever he gets the opportunity. His only weaknesses are that he can not stand being ridiculed and if he says or spells his name backwards, Klptzyxm he is involuntarily sent back to his home dimension for a minimum of 90 days. Being immortal he revealed in Superman: Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow? that he spent his first 2000 years without moving, the next 2000 years doing only good deeds, and the following 2000 years being the mischievous character that he is normally portrayed as. In the story he has now decided to try being evil Before attacking Superman, he remarks, "Did you honestly believe a fifth-dimensional sorcerer would resemble a funny little man in a derby hat?" His true form is described by Lois Lane as having "height, width, breadth, and a couple of other things." Witchblade has my vote.

Mr. Mxy. I shouldn't like him but I do. Honestly he's a cool villain and there is no one like him really in any comics so thats a plus and although he dosen't look threatening but that's what makes him great since he looks like a push over but his magic is a very tough challenge for Superman, even with Supe's almost god-like powers.

Mr. Mxyztplk defeats Witchblade ---------------------------------- Final one from me today ... Dazzler - Alison Blaire is a Marvel Comics superheroine, associated with the X-Men. Despite the fact that Dazzler was originally commissioned as a disco singer, the character shifted to other musical genres, including rock and adult contemporary. She starred in a self-titled solo series in the early 1980s, and later joined the cast of the X-Men. She is currently a member of the spin-off group Excalibur. Alison was born in Gardendale, New York to Carter and Katherine Blaire. Her mutant powers first manifested when she was in high school. An aspiring singer, she volunteered to perform at her school dance when her light-generating abilities first appeared. Everyone at the dance assumed it was a techno-based special effect, and this assumption would continue until she was revealed as a mutant. Using the stage name "Dazzler", Alison set out to make a name for herself in the music industry, while using her light powers and dancing ability to enhance her performances. It was at one of these shows that Alison met the X-Men, who were fighting the forces of the Hellfire Club. Few but those closest to her knew she was actually a mutant. After acquainting herself with the various Marvel Comics superheroes, Alison found herself continually using her abilities to fight ordinary criminals and rogue superhumans –often at the expense of her career ambitions. Dazzler is a mutant with the superhuman ability to transduce sonic vibrations which reach her body into various types of light. This ability seems to operate over a great range of frequencies, including the audible spectrum (35 to 16,500 cycles per second), and a great variation of sound pressure levels regardless of the complexity, dissonance, or randomness of the sound. For example, a car crash and a symphonic passage of equal duration will both produce usable incoming acoustic vibrations. She is also a highly skilled athlete, and has become a good hand-to-hand combatant thanks to her training with the X-Men; talented singer, actress, and dancer; highly accomplished roller skater. vs Scarlet Witch - Wanda Maximoff is a character in the Marvel Comics universe, a mutant who was introduced as a super-villainess before reforming and becoming a superheroine early in her history. She is the daughter of Magneto, twin sister of Quicksilver, half-sister of Polaris and ex-wife of Vision. Over the years of her long-running Avengers membership, various aspects of her back story were embellished. As a character she has had three separate sets of supposed parents, until a lasting connection with super-villain Magneto was established. Her power levels have shifted and grown as well, with diverse (pseudo)scientific, demonic, magical, and physical explanations offered by different writers. She recently suffered a mental breakdown, explained as the end result of her fluctuating powers and personality over her entire history. She was recruited by Captain America along with her brother Quicksilver and the former villain Hawkeye. For much of her Avengers career her powers involved the ability to alter probability with various degrees of success, causing random effects with force beams that were called "hexes" she projected from her hands. Eventually she became a trained witch, and channeled a highly dangerous form of magic known as "Chaos Magic" to augment her powers. Recently she was responsible for the events of M-Day, decimating the mutant population in the process. Dazzler has my vote on this one.
