www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWyKlXpstzoI'm sure Ani will appreciate this. How this little gem of the HELP! album never got the appreciation it deserves is beyond me. My, but a beautiful song. VH1 Classic just played this...followed by Hide Your Love Away...man...what a great moment.

I love this song. It's one of my favourites of their earlier stuff. I listen to it all the time.

HELP! is indeed a wonderful record. I'm not sure I can pick a favourite Beatles album just because they're my favourite band of all time and that's WAY too damn hard...but it is amazing.
And the movie is equally terrific.

And the movie is equally terrific. You and I will likely have long disagreeance about the Beatles...I don't generally like them much, but I'm also of Iron Maiden/Van Halen ideology of rock, meaning I'm stemmed from Clapton and Zeppelin. But HELP! is an underappreciated gem from the secondary days of Rock. Which is entirely too bad, seeing as I feel that it's a great indication of when the Beatles found a great synthesis of experimentation and pop jive.

I love them all but I always liked A Hard days Night the best from the early era.

You know I've never seen the movie Help? Need to pick up the DVD that just came out. As for this song, it's good but I think it's one of the weaker songs on the LP. In my opinion, this is a better "sleeper" song from George: youtube.com/watch?v=1vq74NPQ78U&feature=relatedAs for my top 5 Beatles albums: 1. Sgt. Pepper 2. White Album 3. Rubber Soul 4. Revolver 5. Abbey Road

Ahhh, see, I grew up with 60's stuff and 90's stuff for the most part. My child essentially skipped over 70's and 80's stuff and I didn't discover it later. But that's all due to what my friend listened to, and what was otherwise around at the time. Maiden is awesome though, as is Zeppelin. Van Halen...well, we'll just agree to disagree there

An underrated tune that I love very much. HELP! is my favourite Beatles record. Underrated compared to everything else, I think it's their best pure pop album before the experimentation really kicked in.
As for the film, that is also underrated. Absolutely hilarious. I still quote lines from it. And I still literally laugh up my sleeve like they do.
IT'S A THINGY!
A FIENDISH THINGY!
