Basically, you have to murder, death, kill somebody to get a damn a high end electronic or video game item on installations in Europe.
Oh, but not in England.
I went to the PX here and they had:
Any X Box 360 Model that is currently on shelves. Ditto for PS3.
15 Guitar Hero IIs for all platforms 15-20 Guitar Hero IIIs for all platforms 1 Rock Band for 360
The only solace I could take from it was that they didn't have any Wiis...
Still, I see these toys jacked up on eBay by those in the military trying to make a fast buck. Shame on you!

In defense of our military, they don't make a whole lot; especially those further down on the ladder. (I remember when starting out in the military, I made $315 every 2 weeks. Consider that I left a job where I made $7.15/hr and made $300 every 2 weeks. Factor in free housing, free meals and the military just barely wins out.)
I bought a Sega Saturn from a fellow soldier I went through basic training with, who was going through a lot of hard times. He needed money to get his marriage annulled. (During his two-week leave between basic training and permanent party, he made the mistake of getting married like a lot of young guys do; afraid his g/f would forget about him while he was away.) He asked for $100 and promised he would pay me the $60 he owed me from before. (So, I got a Saturn for what was supposed to be $40.)
Needless to say, he never paid me the money he owed me, and we no longer talk to each other. Some people just aren't good financially. The military needs to sanction some sort of finance class like the NBA does. A lot of these kids are new to the real world and when they get their hands on some money, they piss it away on a nice weekend (drinks, strip club - the usual suspects), then the next week rolls around, they're broke and begging for two nickels to rub together.

You should check out OUR AAFES on Warren...
But seriously, at least our Shoppette is decent. I got some groceries last night that would have cost me around $300 at the local grocery store, got them for $111. Plus, I'm going through some channels here to get an XBOX 360 Elite for $200.
But if you ever need anything, just shoot me a PM, and I'll do what I can to help you out.

I know when I was in Korea, the px on my post sucked, but the main px that was south from where I was was pretty good. I'm at Campbell right now and I think this px is pretty decent. Much better than I've been used to, so I like it.
The usually have 360's in stock, sometimes PS3s, and I've seen a Wii one time since I arrived here in May.

Ehhhh, the PX sucks no matter where you are...A bunch of half rate junk that is overpriced just so they make up for the no tax thing...

I hate how they say they throw x amount back into the MWR Services around the base...
S***, glad to know my Wii purchase helps some idiot go rock climbing and break their leg. Thanks AAFES.
