We have the ROH World Championship and the ROH Tag Team Championships at the moment because the Pure Title was unified.
So, my question is...do you think we will see a new championship in 2007?

Cabana needs a thank you run before he leaves for WWE.

If this experiment with the FIP title being used as a secondary title fails, then probably.

I think we will. As much as i am a fan of homicide, i don't see him having a long reign like joe or dragon. And that is ok. I haven't a clue who will beat him for the title right now tho. Nigel seemed to be being groomed as a major player, but has been losing a lot lately. And i have never liked jimmy rave, so i hope his super push doesn't lead to that.

We already pretty much have one. I can see the FIP title having some longevity

FIP Title as de facto secondary belt, I'll buy. But in a place like ROH, it would seem silly to have an actual secondary belt. I mean, the company was based on the idea that through honor and strong wrestling, anybody can work hard and win the ROH Title. And this is reinforced by the way that anyone in the upper 2/3 of the card can get an ROH World Title shot at any given time. If anything, the Tag Team titles have often been a secondary title, such as Whitmer and Jacobs getting a tag title reign that got them both into the scene as major players. The Briscoes have both had title shots. Homicide and Low-Ki, the Second City Saints, Christopher Daniels, Aj Styles and Amazing Red: all main-event caliber players who held the tag titles when they weren't in the ROH World Title picture. I prefer it the way it is. One prize. One belt. One champion.

I don't see another AmDrag-esque title run for a while.

That is one thing ROH does well, build their titles. By the time Nigel and Dragon fought in Liverpool for the unification of the titles, the Pure Title was being looked at as on the same level of the World Title.

The FIP title is already the IC title

...except that more than 30 people show up in person to see the IC Title defended on its home turf, and the IC Title was founded in a fictional Brazilian tournament rather than in a Floridian strip club.
