I'd have included Flair and Benoit, but Kobashi gets my vote.

Out of people I have seen, Benoit. I have seen him leave people's chests blood red, if not bleeding.

The comedy answer would be The Great Khali for his megaton cranium chop.
But Kobashi causes natural disasters like a nine tailed fox with his chops.

What is the allure of chops anyway? I thought this wrestling was supposed to protect the wrestlers, not have them bleed from the chest.
Chops look sloppy and actually hurt. Why are they so popular?

Greg Valentine and Ronnie Gravin had some GREAT matches where they made each other's chests BLEED. In the WWF no less. 'Twas glorious.

You're supposed to protect them from serious injuries, like avoiding bad neck or head bumps, etc. A chop to the chest, despite causing pain and occasionally drawing blood, is relatively harmless and also looks cool as hell.

I saw Strongs chops in person, and I cringed for everyone. It sounded like gunshots. And even the dark brown chest of Rocky Romero was left red and welted.

I recall Flair bringing blood to Sting back in the day. They're not what they used to be, but they're still my favorites.

Take a look at Danielson's chest on the cover of ROH's next show (Night of Tribute), which was two weeks later.
