Feeding the hungry in Somalia...
As I mentioned in another thread I'm trying to rewatch the entire run of Nitro, so along with that I am also watching a few early episodes of Monday Night Raw from 1993 just because it's been so long since I've seen them and I lke to make comparisons to the current product. Anyway Backlund appeared on one of the first Raws as a face giving a PSA abou feeding the hungry in Somalia. It was terrible. I mean no one should starve, but they could have got more talented talkers to plug the cause than face Bob Backlund. The Undertaker for example gave one with Paul Bearer that was pretty entertaining. Thank goodness he turned heel!

Well, we all know that he DOESN'T approve of people throwing in the towel lol.
For some odd reason, I think of Happy Days whenever I think of Bob Backlund.
