What was The Messiah/Ron Black XPW Thumb incident exactly? I know that he was attacked by two men hired by Black to try and kill Messiah after he left for CZW, but they only were able to cut off of his thumb. What is the real story exactly and why did it happen?

Didn't it involve Messiah supposedly sleeping with Black's *friendly* girlfriend?

From what I've heard these two posts pretty much sum it up, except to suggest that the original intention may well have included killing Messiah at its worst.
