The thread about the moments that made you tear up got me to thinking,it's times like that for me, where I feel really close to the sport, someone is taken away, someone that you enjoyed watching for all those years, and even though you didn't know them personally, you felt you suffered a loss, so my question is, are there any instances where you felt particularly close to the sport?

Owen's death. I was just in a weird state of shock. I remember people in school laughing about it the next day and it didn't feel right at all.

Despite trying my hardest to resist it: joining in chants at the Viking Hall.

Not a negative moment but when Brother Ray spat water partially on me (he aimed for the guy in front of me in the Team Canada jersey) and then used our chairs to beat up AMW.

at a tna house show i had a sign that said Abyss fears Sharkboy and when Abyss came out he came over to the sign and looked at it and kind of chuckled and then got in the ring and was eyeing me the whole time then Brother Runt came out and took the sign and held it up in the ring and used it to taunt Abyss....that was cool
Scott Steiner getting in my face and ripping up my Steiner Sucks sign was cool too.....
also the deaths of Eddie and Owen really hit home
