I hate that kind of "creating news" myself as I've seen reporters stand on streets and go after people who are speeding and petty stuff like that but this an exception for the best to keep men like those away from real young people. Although I do agree with teh demonstrators that it could lure predators into the neighborhood but in the other hand it could keep them away knowing there were stings going on there.
I find odd that faces weren't blurred out and names hidden in a story like that. Kind of invites a lawsuit if you ask me.

Judge: Alright, explain this case. Guy: Well, erm, um, see. They set me up, see, they made me think I was going to meet a 14 year old- Judge: Why were you going to visit that 14 year old? Guy: Um, well, to be friends. See- Judge: Seriously, tell me the truth. I've read the chat transcript. Guy: Um, erm, well, okay, nevermind, your honor. Case dismissed. I quit.

I don't know about this case but, in Dallas when they do stuff like this, they go to brand new areas, just built houses and roads and the like to make the sting so no one (outside of the people making the bust) are in serious danger.

Harry Hairston is either the real greatest name ever, or completely made up. But either way, it's the greatest name ever.

While I'm not going to defend those guys. I hate this silly sensationalist journalism, where they think they're cops.
It's like the news version of Punk'd.
"You thought you were going to meet a 14 year old girl? Well look at over at those bushes cause you're on Pervert Camera!!!"

"You thought you were going to meet a 14 year old girl? Well look at over at those bushes cause you're on Pervert Camera!!!" I'd be surprised if one aired where the undercover reporter catches a would-be molester, and ends up getting his ass handed to him .

Atleast on Dateline the pedos get arrested, here they just drive off to prey on more kids.
