It's a surprisingly good cage match, IMO. The Savage spot where he climbs the top of the cage was insane to me back then. I have this on tape (Supertape 1), and my god, was Vince McMahon's commentary annoying, especially in the end where he says "drops the leg".

Good stuff. The Summerslam match wasn't bad either.

December 1989. It was during a PPV which showed the movie (No Holds Barred) and then the cage match right after it. It was the blow-off to the Hogan/Zeus feud.

i find it funny that Vince made such a big deal when Sherri gave Macho King the chain. The ring is surrounded by a steel cage! stuff like that makes me laugh at "face" McMahon.

Also what PPV was it? It was just a PPV that showed No Holds Barred the movie and then the cage match after it. It wasn't a normal PPV. The cage match is on Supertape 1 and I'm sure you can get the No Holds Barred VHS tape on EBay or Amazon. I doubt it's on DVD.

I think that the exact title of the PPV was: No Holds Barred: The Movie/The Match. I feel bad that people actually bought the movie and then were forced to sit thru that match.
