Holy shit, just saw his match against Joe that someone has in his signature. Dayum!
One of the best matches I've seen this year. Great ringpsychology, a very good build up to the ending, very good selling by Gibson, hot crowd, Joe looking like a threat but Gibson still able to weaken the giant.
Wow, great match. WWE really needs to give him the lightweight title and build up the division some more, they have the talent to compete with the X-Division. Now they just need to care about the lightweights and Gibson could do magic there.

I love that little guy, too. he could really be as over as...anyone else who is over, if only, and I know this is the WWE we're talking about, gave him the chance. If he ever gives another promo, I just pray that he is no longer the goofy redneck who is amazed at having running water, but he's the intense and in yo' face Gibson for the days of yore. I'd really like to see something forge between Gibson and Yang. The goofy Asian redneck and the always serious Noble would be fun. Way fun.

They can both work, and have a history together, so we know ahead of time they'd click in terms of timing.

I'd love to see him bring back that flag as well. WWE has a thing for rednecks, wether it's promoting them like Austin or making fun of them with The Godwinns. So why not have Noble go back to his 'roots' and really take it to that 'wannabe' Jimmy Yang. It's very simple to book and can get Noble over as a bad ass and Yang as a babyface who never did anything wrong but still has Noble after him.

James Gibson is the f'n man. If he gets cut by WWE again at any point I'd love for him to come back to ROH.

As a WWE fan who has never seen an ROH show, it amazes me to know that jobber Jamie Noble is actually a former World Champion, kinda sad to see how he's used (or isn't used) now, he's a talented guy, they could use him to build up the cruiserweight division

It sucks. For awhile, he was a huge star on Smackdown with Nidia. His gimmick was his own idea too, and he played it up so well.
As a wrestler, I've seen him in ROH and WWE and he is so talented. He got slapped into a dumb tag team with Kid Kash and really should be pushed harder in the Crusierweight division. The WWE needs to push Jamie Knoble BOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIYYYY!!!!!!

That would be my signature! And the match was from '05 and is one of my favorite non-Nigel involved Pure Title defenses.
The thing I admire most about Gibson is the fact that when he was caught using steroids by the WWE he resigned to avoid the WWE coming under any form of "disgrace" and then rebuilt his career on the indies.

Yeah I've started to mark for Gibson as well. I've only seen three of his matches from ROH against Yang, Black Tiger and when he loeses the title to Danielson.
I also mark for his entrance music.

Yep, Gibson is the man. I wish they'd atleast give him a push on the ECW brand.

He'll probably get his push soon enough anyhow, it seems when the bring people back they're either on Heat/Velocity or jobbing but get their chance after a while. Happened with Kendrick & Haas.

Currently, there is no greater wasted talent in wrestling than James Gibson.
That man is a bona-fide main eventer, and he's not even on Smackdown at this point.

Say, why did Noble leave WWE in the first place? Or was he released? I thought he was doing pretty well.

I don't know if many American fans know this. But Gibson had a great match in the WWE against Rey Mysterio jr. I think or a threeway elimation match with those two as the survivors. It was at a British event and they had like 15 minutes or longer to wrestle. It was the first time I really saw him work and I was really impressed by him.
And now this amazing match against Joe.
Damn, it's been a long time since I've been so frustrated by the WWE. Because it is not like he is limited the way Rey was, Rey was small but also used luchadore moves that didn't look credible. Gibson worked great on Joe's leg, but was still the obvious underdog.

I remember he carried Billy Gunn to a good match at Vengence I think, he then beat Gunn & got to sleep with Torrie Wilson!

He's the next Dean Malenko as far as I'm concerned. Fantastic wrestler who never gets his just due if only because of his lack of size.
