When a wrestler is "injured" on a show to the point where they have to miss a week or more, are they kept out of the public eye so as to somewhat legitimize the injury?
Unless it's someone getting "injured" in order to film a movie or having actual surgery, of course.

I know they did that with the Sandman when Tommy dreamer hit him in the eye.
He didn't go out for a whole month so the fans thought he was really blind.

The WWE can keep them off TV, but they can't keep them from going to the grocery store or going to the bank to run and errand. Imagine if you saw John Cena casually strolling in a park the day after he supposedly had a rupturned spleen and refused medical attention?

Right "Ruptured spleen" is greater than Umaga I supose. I bet if he geets crippled he will still face The Great Khali and somehow he overcomes the odds and F-U's KHALI!
