Since everybody and their grandmothers seems to overall have enjoyed this week's PPV (and while I found some faults with it, I still really enjoyed being there live), what would you say was the last overall great WWE PPV before Royal Rumble 2007?

Unforgiven 2006. And being there live made Unforgiven that much better for me.

Best PPV? I beg to differ. I dug the quality ending to the Rumble with 2 established guys duking it out, but outside of that? Hardys beating MNM was cool, then all 3 titles were retained. Yawn. If you're gonna fill a PPV with World Title matches, 3 straight, at least let one of them change hands.

If you're gonna fill a PPV with World Title matches, 3 straight, at least let one of them change hands. My thoughts exactly. It was a VERY average PPV. The Rumble match itself wasn't the worst, but by no means had me on the edge of my seat. Even when the Rumble was getting good, Khali came out and ruined it. he didnt just bring the level down, he ruined it! not only do I not know what the man is doing in the WWE, I dont know what hes doing in wrestling! The title matches were poor. OK Cena's match had some eye brow raising moments, and Im all for some good blading; but when JBL said that "thats probably the best match Ive seen Cena ever wrestler" I had to laugh. You really cant get much worse than what he's been doing his entire career. Also, having the Original ECW guys completely job out left a bad taste in my mouth. The backstage segments made me cringe. Can Kelly-Kelly sound anymore unnatural? And what the hell's up with this Team Expose? Layla is the only one that looks comfortable and can dance, Kelly and Brooke just look wooden, and make the whole segment embarrsing. Once again, WWE fails to deliver. ....so much so, i refused to watch last nights RAW. and now going onto to WWE.com it looks like it wasnt half bad, which Im ticked off about now.

I thought it was the best one since Survivor Series 2006. But it wasnt the god send that people seem to making it out to be the one thats gonna make a boom period or anything.

The ending was absolute gold, the stuff legends are made of. The rest wasn't really all that great. The Cena match pissed me off in particular.

I was really pissed that Hardyz seem to win all their matches against MNM, doesnt really make them a good competitor on the MNM's side if you look at it

I thought the first four matches were pretty lackluster. Yes, even the tag match. Well, maybe I used the wrong word but Hardyz vs. MNM didn't interest me as I thought it would when the feud was building up... Anyone heard the decent "Kennedy" chants? Yeah, my man's over in a live PPV! I'm so proud of him! *tear* ... Okay, that was sad.. But after all the matches (and the ECW title suckfest), the Rumble itself made it up for me. Most especially, the ending. Really, I think 'Taker deserved to make history by being the first ever superstar at #30 to win the damn thing, and this being his first ever win. It's the company's way of saying, "Thank you for your loyalty to the business..."

Great Rumble match (the only thing I ordered the PPV for), but the title matches sans Cena/Umaga were underwhelming and I could care less for. Test/Lashley was pisspoor and Kennedy had a hernia carrying Batista to a decent effort.
