Seriously posters around here really like that notion.
why is that? Kane, Big Show, Undertaker, Batista, Triple H, Sid, Hulk Hogan, and Ultimate Warrior have lost why is it that now.
Umaga and Khali lose and their careers are over?
Kenny loses, Carlito Loses, SHelton Loses, Punk lost, Test loses, Lashley loses.
Their careers aren't done at all.
So why is it when Khali or Umaga lose, their careers are over and have no future.
While guys like Vis, Carlito, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, and Kevin Thorne have more of a future?
Seriously, Umaga is one of the most talented wrestlers under a WWE contract, there's so much room for him to grow as a character. These two losses do not mean the end of his career, WWE puts over how Cena barely beat him the first time, and how Cena went through hell and had to literally choke the life out of him to get the job done. Umaga looks like a monster and Cena looks like a world beater.
There's a lot more for these guys to do.

Well it is weird that Umaga went from facing Cena to facing Val the next night on Raw.

Because of how the character is booked.....If you look at, say Andre, he was booked as an unstoppable monster...Hogan beat him at WM3 and then a despite the huge angle leading up to WrestleMania 4, Andre was basically a job guy, losing to Jake Roberts, Savage and others....most notably being squashed by the Warrior quite frequently.
Once you end the unstoppableness (new word!) of a wrestler, it kills the mystique....

Well then how do guys like Kane, Undertaker, Sid, or JBL last like they did in WWE?
It's all about how you book them after the fact. He's still strong, he's still big, he can still put on a good match with anybody he's in there with.
Why is it that Kenny's got more of an upside than Umaga?
I just think that Umaga is one hell of a performer.
IS it because he was a heel and lost?
Bobby Lashley lost to JBL on a throwaway episode of Smackdown.
Umaga lost to John Cena in a last man standing match.
Umaga is one of the few uppercard heels on RAW (the others of course are Rated RKO...eheh and then Kenny)
Seriously wrestling always needs a big brute who can work, and Umaga fits that mold.
what's wrong with putting him against the midcard...oh because it's very weak.
Actually a change to Smackdown where he could fued with Benoit, Undertaker, Batista, Booker, Kennedy would actually be pretty nicely, as the face side of RAW really stops at HBK and Cena.

Lashley lost to JBL at No Way Out 2006.
The biggest problem with Umaga, is that his undefeated streak was put over so much it almost completely eclipsed anything else the gimmick offered. Khali was put over as a monster, but never as "the undefeated" Khali.
WWE kept pushing Umaga's undefeated streak more and more to a point where it wasn't really reasonable to believe he could be beaten by one man. If WWE had just pushed him as a strong savage who could handle taking on the main eventers, then the losses wouldn't have been as big an issue.
The final problem with his streak was that it would've been a strong catalyst to push a younger talent who needed the win to get to the next level. Unfortunately it was wasted on Cena, who had been put over by basically every other top talent available. It made the entire angle of the undefeated savage look completely pointless. It didn't really further anyone beyond the current places they were beforehand.

I say team him with Khali and have them win the Tag titles off of Shawn and Cena, then have them destroy tag team after tag team for a few weeks, even bringing back classic tag teams like The Rockers, Hardy's, Rock N Sock, APA to try and beat them and then somehow have one of the current tag teams like Cryme Time beat them somehow, which would out Cryme Time even more over and then we would have the titles on an ACTUAL tag team.

I don't think tossing together a tag team really ever works......I am all for an actual tag having the tag titles, but I don't think Umaga and Khali should be thrown together for that purpose...I'd rather Cena/HBK drop them ala Shawn and Nash, setting up a tag tourney to crown new champs.

Yes I'm all for Khali and Umaga with Armando Alejandro EESSSSSTRAAAAAAAADAAA! as thE Colossal Connection Part Duex.
You know with Armando being the brains, Khali as the immovable object, and Umaga as the bad ass Island Savage.
Cryme Tyme, TWGTT, Highlanders, Cade & Murdoch...would not stand a snowballs chance in heck though.
we need some sort of team that demolishes stuff.
