Does anyone think it is possible that with the expected return to WWE TV that they may be headed for a feud between these two?
Last night when Sandman got eliminated from the Royal Rumble, the announcers were talking about the similarities between Sandman and Stone Cold, then when Sandman got tossed rather quickly, JBL said. "he drinks beer, but he doesn't kick ass. He certainly is no Stone Cold Steve Austin."
Did we see some seeds planted by chance?

I think it was just further burial of former ECW stars.

Maybe they will start up a rivalry in the ecw? Stone cold steve austin could return to avenge against the Sandman.

That defintly pissed me off whn JBL said that. First eliminate him like a common jobber, then humiliate/bury him through commentary. To top it off Michael Cole agreed with JBL following "He's no Stone Cold" with "No, Not at all." That is just rediculous.

That really, really irritated me. Sandman deserved better than that. Of course, that feeds rumors of him being "an endangered species" in the locker room.
..Stupid internet news...

They're right. Sandman is no Stone Cold.
Sandman can maintain his popularity.
