That was the worst case of being carried since Kevin Nash WWE 2002.
What say you?

Ya, I usually don't notice or care when someone is being carried, but it was pretty obvious Kennedy was doing the work last night. I used to really like Batista but that injury has taken something out of him.

I felt kind of bad for Kennedy. He had the match of his life and no one to wrestle with.

I'm thinking that too, it's like he's moving gingerly so he doesn't blow a quad or tear a shoulder or something. He's definitely lost it, and it's very obvious, I don't know if it's the haircut that makes him look 10 years older or the lack of intensity, but he's not as great as he once was. I could care less for Kennedy, but out of the 2 he's the better worker by far.

I keep telling my friend I see Batista retiring before Taker, he just gets injured too much. Please for the love of God don't have Batista win

I keep telling my friend I see Batista retiring before Taker, he just gets injured too much. Please for the love of God don't have Batista win That's exactly my sentiment. Batista is 40 and worried that if he moves he'll injure himself more times than Ken Griffey Jr., Nomar Garciaparra and Kevin Nash have injured themselves in the act of moving combined. He does not have enough years left in the business to benefit from the push he'd get from breaking a streak I don't even think should be broken. Seriously, main eventers should not break that streak if it even has to be broken.

Speaking as a fellow entering-middle-age guy I can definitely say the injuries come more easily now. Batista was nothing special in the first place IMO, hell Test would be a more legit champ. But he has gone down-hill now from even being a decent hoss with some good intensity.
At-least Nash can be entertaining when he really wants to be. Dude has been gold in TNA.

They should have Kennedy vs Taker at Wrestlemania
I know we've seen it before loads of times, but at least we would have a good match out of them unlike Boretista

Wow the Batista hate is strong in you guys And this from a board that considers Smackdown the better show! At least Kennedy has alot more years left in him than Batista does, although if Batista gets another bad injury, its gonna leave a big hole in the Smackdown lineup.

Kennedy is now a true main-eventer in my book after last night. He was spectacular.

A twig could fill the gap that Batista would leave if he was injured.
It's got better wrestling skills & Charisma than Batista (Post injury)

I meant it would really screw up their booking, they've billed him as their top draw and it would really mess things up to lose the guy they've pushed to the moon AGAIN.

OK, I've read a ton of this whole "Kennedy carried Batista" stuff since last night. Did I watch a different match than you guys? Of course Kennedy looked better, he did way more offense, as heels normally do, and Batista just sold a lot, which a lot of faces are supposed to do in your standard match. Most of Kennedy's offense was just...GASP...restholds! And you know how much you all HATE restholds!
It looked like a standard "heel gets the advantage, face comes back from getting worked on and wins" match to me. It was a good match, but it didn't show me that Kennedy is the greatest worker on the show by any means. He told a good story and made Batista look good, but Batista had a hand in making Kennedy look like a legit threat as well. I'm not trying to hate on Kennedy and/or defend Batista, I just don't understand where all this talk is coming from about how "Kennedy carried Batista." Oh wait, I do understand, because everyone on the internet seems to love Kennedy because he can yell, and they hate Batista because he's not the cool guy you all thought he was this time last year.
