I know the rumble has been and gone but just hght id point out..that i really hate botched eliminations...im talking about when some1's spose 2 be eliminated but they dopnt get enough contact with there opponet or mistime something..and rather than jsut cover it up and do it again..they just dive out the ring!
A few cases i remember are goldust in 2004 (2005)...and jake the snake in 1996 (he got a really weak closeline from vader in the middle of the ring...and just walked over to the rope and dived out!..and more recently chris masters last night...he mistimed something and just dived out the ring himself
I know its not a big deal but it anbboys me when this happens..it sorta takes away the magic..

I know..I hate those too, the ones that look so obvious that they have lept over the ropes of their own accord, it just look bad

I've always wondered if anyone has ever been eliminated that wasn't supposed to be.
Rumbles constantly have spots where wrestler X "almost" gets eliminated, but manages to hang on, pull himself back up, slip back under the bottom rope, or whatever. In fact, rumble finishes have been centered around such situations (Shawn Michaels' "one foot" and bret/luger's simultaneous eliminations come to mind).
What would happen if the planned winner went for one of these "almost eliminated!" spots, only to find himself unable to hang on to the rope, slipped of his own accord, or bumped out by another wrestler accidentally? Do they have some "alternate winner" plan? Do they just let him back in and not acknowledge the knockout? Do they have some kayfabe plan of getting him back in the match?

You know what.,..i was act gonna start a thread on that..in all the rumbles i wondered if anyone had accidently been eliminated...i kep-t thinking yest..when HBK nad taker were on the top rope that smthing could accidnetly happen!..apparently what i heard is that they make the apron wider outside the ropes for the rumble so theres more room to balance

The only thing that I think would happen is if someone got eliminated that wasn't supposed to have the camera cut away and not really show it as best as they could. But, that still probably won't stop from someone there live saying they really saw so-and-so get eliminated.

I noticed a few times during RR 92 as Flair had some perilous moments, the two officials on the outside always had there back turned to him...should he accidentally fall over, the plan was for him to probably quickly slip back in and have no official acknowledge it.
The Michaels in 95 was trickier though. That was a one time shot.

I just hate when people gets eliminated with dropkicks and other "weak impact" moves. Hell, HBK cleaning house with the Sweet Chin Music is beyond ridicolous... The superkick can sure KO someone, but it can't possibly make you stumble over the top rope But hey, it's HBK after all

Didn't Cena and Batista botch the ending in 2005?

I noticed the ropes last night were wound tighter than usual... I guess its for more stability for the wrestlers as they are often perched through the rumble match.

The Masters elimination was botched last night.
And correct me if I'm wrong, but who else thinks that Khali forgot to eliminate MVP? Undertaker sure looked like he was improvising that elimination on MVP.

It's all Estrada's fault And the worst elimination ever was in the battle royal before wrestlemania 21 and I think it was Snitsky doing the slingshot and it looked very very very bad
