The last two matches alone were incredibly better than last year's disaster.

Excellent show. Seriously. Was a bit disappointed to see Kennedy lose after he turned that match into a very good showcase, but it seemed understandable. Taker/Michaels end of the Rumble was historic.

Easily by a large margin, last year's had the Eddieploitation angle in full swing, and Rey with his sympathy win was extra lame, plus the Rumble match itself was quite boring with Rey sitting on his ass for most of the match.

Taker vs Kennedy would be a good Main event

Certainly reads a LOT better than last year's.
Plus Rey didn't win, so I'd say 2007 >>>>>>>>>>>>> 2006.

It's almost hard to say that someone as young as Kennedy could carry the world champion in a match, but Kennedy nearly did. Batista was very 'meh' while Kennedy used great psychology (focusing on the legs) and worked his ass off.
Anyone else catch Batista forgetting which leg to sell at what time he was supposed to.

So much better. Now, if the trend from the last few years continues, Survivor Series will be bad

Much better. This Rumble had one of the best final 2 showdowns in RR history.

That bugged me. And he shouldn't have been able to hold Kennedy up that long in the Batista bomb. He just did a regular Batista bomb, pinned him, and then started to sell.

Much, much better, loved the ending of the rumble, you could see it was two guys whoo knew what they were doing. And I couldn't believe it but Cena/Umaga did not suck

Great Rumble, and did anyone notice Shawn telling Khali which way the hard camera was? I thought that was funny, I'm sure it'll be edited out of the DVD version for sure.
Plus, this Rumble had no Rey Mysterio, thank god.
