I didn't know boo-birds could stay out in the winter.
Seriously, good for him. A part on a high-profile show (Disney or not) will broaden his exposure and maybe get him MORE parts elsewhere.
And if not, hey, there's worse things than becoming a part of Disney. It's not like they don't put out product.

Wow, what a fall from grace. Rock should go back to what he does best. Pro-wrestling. QFT

Jeez, no one just says what someone did wrong anymore. They gotta be pricks about it.
Yeah, I'm not worried about the Rock, as he got the gay Samoan movie coming out and the football title mentioned earlier. It's a cameo, so it's nothing bad.

The Disney channel is a pretty big deal anyway. Billy Ray Cyrus is on a show and I think we can all agree he is a still a huge star.

And if not, hey, there's worse things than becoming a part of Disney. It's not like they don't put out product. Ironically, being in the WWE nowadays is more career suicide than any venture Rock can get into. There's a reason he doesn't want to be associated with it anymore. Wrestling is a mainstream joke now. Disney is not a bad thing to be in. As someone mentioned, kids have unlimited incomes (due to parents), so that's a great target audience for Rock to branch out in. Rock has done everything in wrestling. The Attitude Era (thanks to Mr. Long-Term Booking Vince Russo) accelerated everything, so Rock did everything in the business within three years. There's nothing left for him except come in and job to younger guys, which doesn't benefit the Rock at all. It's refreshing to see a huge wrestling star not need to be a slave to the industry. I wish more wrestlers were like that.

Sheesh, some of you are harsh. Contrary to what you want to believe, just because he's appearing on a Disney Channel show doesn't mean his acting career is sliding, not when he has other movie projects lined up as was said earlier. And by appearing on the show, he has the opportunity to attract new fans. So good for him.

Don't you know? It's Disney, which caters to kids, so the Rock is selling out/falling from grace because he's not talking about monkey's nipples and his own streudel! BAH GAWD KANG! IT'S A NATIONAL DISGRACE!
LOL
Hey, I wouldn't turn down a gig on the pilot station of one of the biggest companies in the world. (If I could act)
And I, too, actually clicked on this thinking that in the actual White House, you'd hear this soon:
"LISTEN UP, YOU ROODY-POO CANDY ASS! YOU'RE GONNA DO NIP-UPS UNTIL THE ROCK SAYS YOU'RE DONE! IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU'RE THE RULER OF THE FREE WORLD! NOW GO KISS A CAMEL'S ANUS! IF YOU SMEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL..."

Good lord. Disney can make any actor who stars in their movies appear on their crappy tween shows!!!!? So, when will Johnny Depp appear on the Suite Life of Zack & Cody? How about Robert De Niro's appearence in Phil from the Future? Hey Phil, tell that mother f'n dad of yours, I'm going to stick his zany head in this here vice... Disney is going to rule the whole world like Sid Vicous if people are not careful. Its the most evil and vile corporation there is. They brainwash the young people at an early age into believing that their life will be a failure if they don't go to their stupid theme parks. Anyone go to DisneyWorld in the middle of the Summer? Boy that is fun. Its 50,000 people people standing out in the 100 degree heat, drinking $5.00 bottled water while waiting three hours in line to ride the Flying waxing Dumbos. I would gladly hop onboard that train from Schindler's List than get on the monorail to the magic kingdom. Magic Kingdom my ass. The only thing magical is the way that Disney makes all the money in your wallet dissapear at their park.

Now THAT'S magic.

Agrees with Karisma. Why anyone would go in the summer I have no clue. If I am going to spend thousands of bucks on entertaining the kids, they can miss a little school.

From making movies to a cameo on a Disney Channel sitcom? The Rock is totally in the doghouse with Disney, you guys. His push is dead. DEAD.

Typical smark response: This is a fall from grace. Disney Channel? Come on. Translated smark response: This isn't being on the TV of millions of whiney fans every Monday on RAW. Working for one of the richest companies and one with constantly moneymaking movies? Come on. I'd say The Rock IS an A-List star, only just though. And all you people saying his career is on a downturn are WISHING, his doing a frign' cameo on a high rated kids show, not a porno. Don't you know? It's Disney, which caters to kids, so the Rock is selling out/falling from grace because he's not talking about monkey's nipples and his own streudel! BAH GAWD KANG! IT'S A NATIONAL DISGRACE! LOL You guys realize Rock has a bunch of big movies coming out this year right? This isnt a "fall from grace", its just another small acting gig that still pretty much benfits The Rock... You know what annoys me? Instead of pointing out a few facts about the subject to people, we get made to be whiney "smark" fools who think we know everything. No one was being as harsh as most of you are making it out to be. I beg you, please stop exaggerating our reactions. My "falling grace" quote was quoted often, mostly in a negative light. I wrote that, because I was not aware about any future movies or never thought this would be a positive for him. I thought it was bad, because without looking at certain facts it seemed like a bad thing. (from Big Movies to a kids T.V show) After looking at a post that Garcia Vega posted I agreed, and then changed my opinion on the matter. I wasn't trying to be a whiney "smark" fan who was being harsh and wishing failure on the Rock. It was simply the opposite. I don't want Rock to fail, because I'm a big fan and would hate to see that happen to him. Seeing him go from big movies to a kids show seemed like a drop. It was a post of worry, not mockery of the Rock. No I didn't realize he had anymore movies. Nor did I ever mention anything about a porno. I already admitted that you guys were right. Please, enough already...
