1996- HBK comes back from an injury and wins the match, and also, he eliminated 450 pound Vader and 650 pound yokozuna, 1100 pounds total, at the same time by lifting a leg of each, in the middle of the ropes.
2006 (10 years later)- Triple H, best friend of HBK, eliminates 320 pound Kane and 510 pound Big Show at the same time, lifting a leg of each, in the middle of the ropes. Coincidence? (i saw kane and show battling there and I saw triple h watching them, and i called it about 5 seconds before it happened and my gf looked at me and said "HOW THE HELL DID YOU KNOW THAT???")
1996- Triple H starts off the royal rumble, the number one entrant, and lasts over 50 minutes before being so easily eliminated by Diesel.
2006- Triple H starts off the royal rumble, the number one entrant, and lasts over 50 minutes before being so easily eliminated by Mysterio. Coincidence?

Not coincidence, just lazy booking and common spots.

2007 - HHH runs in (yes, runs), helps Shawn win......and then they both make out rather graphically in the middle of the ring as the show ends.

So going by that, whoever wins the Rumble this year will be thrown out but the refs wont see and will come back in and win it.
I see MVP winning that way.

I'd say, if that were so, it wouldn't be MVP, he's not the heel steve austin of this era. That honor would probably go to Edge. Edge is so low that he left his partner to get the concerto. Austin 10 years ago attacked another heel, his former partner Brian Pillman, and "broke" his ankle. MVP is a good choice for that, but Edge is the Austin of this era.

Does that mean we'll get to see the Vader-Flash Funk elimination spot again? If so awesome, although it'll probably be Viscera doing it.
