I think Lesnar/Goldberg was originally hinted at during Summerslam when they met backstage.

I was intrigued by the Yokozuna vs Vader slugfest we were going to get in 1996, till HBK spoiled it by....dumping both men out at the same time with one arm each. Thats right kids, in 1996 WWF math, 230 pounds > 1,000 or so pounds. But I also loved the "Final Four" of Austin, Taker, Vader and Bret in 1997. He has the strength of ten men because his heart is pure.

Can you believe that the New Diesel aka Kane aka Isaac Yankem was actually one of the "Final Four" in 1997. I think they justified it by saying that he wasn't eliminated by Austin or something.....but he shoulda been in that Four-Way dance for the title.

Goldberg and Lesnar. Had potential, but we know what happened there. The greatest sociological event in WrestleMania history, that's what! Seconded only by the night that crowd ripped on Lita! what about austin/ rock in 98, was kind of their first interaction Not really. Just a month earlier, they had that entire feud over the Intercontinental title which involved Austin throwing the belt into a river.

Bret/Owen began in earnest at RR 94. I know they had had their problems before, and it looked like a matter of time, but Owen kicked Bret's leg out from under his leg that night, leading to the best feud of 1994 (imo, better than Hall/HBK).

Sid vs. Hogan. Sid was a great heel from that moment on.

I think Lesnar/Goldberg was originally hinted at during Summerslam when they met backstage. It was Survivor Series '03. The crowd went ape scat for Goldberg, while I got pegged in the head with a cup of beer for cheering for Lesnar and again later for cheering Triple H over Goldberg.

I thought the match was really good. It was just the jerk people in the arena that made it look like crap since they knew Lesner was leaving and that was Goldbergs last match. . I thought it was the jerk people in the ring that made the match look like crap. To each his own I suppose, I thought it was awful and they didn't look like they were trying at all out there. The match is an atrocity and should be required viewing for every aspiring wrestler as how NOT to do a match. (Ditto Big Show vs. Batista for Batista's behavior.) This match didn't need to be as excellent as the two World title matches of the night. I wasn't expecting that. I'll tell you all exactly what I was expecting out of that match. Instead of no-selling for each other, these two bulls should have kept knocking each other down, but then immediately getting back up, saying "Mother**cker, you may knock me down, but you ain't keeping down b**ch!" Yes, doing an abundance of bumps may not have been their preference, but WE are the paying audience and deserved much better. Had the match been the way I wanted it, I guarantee it would have been held in high regard like Hogan vs. Warrior in terms of all-time WM classics.

I'm pretty sure it was the Rumble a few years back when we had the classic altercation between Heidenreich and Snitsky. "I like your poems" "I like how you kick babies" ...and both laugh like idiots
