How would the IWC and the wrestling world react?
Would they turn on him like they did Warrior (Even though the IWC already hated him)
Would this cause more hate or love for Shawn HBK and Hebner? Whaat do you think would have happened?

I wouldn't say that anyone "turned" on Warrior because many people were not on the Warrior's side to begin with. As for Bret Hart, I really think it would depend on what the contents of the DVD were before we know how anyone would react to it.

The IWC definately would not have turned on Hart, although in actuality the IWC never really was completely pro-Hitman. After all he's the guy the, "five moves of doom" fad started with about a decade ago.
I don't think posters would really dislike Michaels anymore, maybe Hebner would feel some backlash as his role in the event has not been as publicized at much. From what I heard of the documentary though it would definately give the IWC more fuel to bitch about Hogan though.

What did Hogan have to do with it?

We pretty much already know what happened, so if the WWE had come out with "Screwed" The Bret Hart story, it wouldn't change our opinion.

I was on hiatus from wrestling during the production of the DVD (though I did eventually buy what was released), were they seriously considering doing a DVD like this, or was it mostly rumoured?

I guess they'd have focused more on the whole Screwjob thing, putting emphasis on Bret jumping ship to WCW and not wanting to drop the belt to Shawn. Basically it'd have been a 2 hours "Bret screwed Bret" documentary, with many Superstars rambling on Bret being overrated, a crybaby and a poor draw as Champion.
Hogan would have went on with his "Bret wasn't ready/wasn't big enough to be a Champion" to justify that abortion that was WMIX ending, and his unwillingness to drop the belt to Bret in mid 92.

I dont get what they could say about him. I mean the guy was a hard worker and did everything they wanted him to and was never involved in any stupid crap. With Warrior there was alot, the fact that he couldnt wrestle, couldnt cut a promo, and was just crazy. I mean what were they gonna put on the Bret DVD? "We told this guy one thing and did another, hahahaha! Now lets watch Vince tell him to ring the bell in slow motion!"

Yep, they actually recorded interviews with Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan - all of whom were supposed to have pretty thouroughly trashed Bret.

Geez, i can just see it now, all four just saying, "Bret's so unprofessional, we've never had any problems jobbing"

So, is WWE just gonna keep on doing this to guys who won't sign a Lengends deal? Should we be expecting a "Self Destruction of Bruno Sammartino" DVD to come out soon?

I'd have gotten the DVD just for the matches.

Flair had no problems bashing Sammartino in his book, though.

What's funny is, if things ever sour with Bret again, I could see them releasing that DVD. Except it'd make the WWE look like fools, because of them backing off of the DVD. I think people would see through that.

Plus, with Bret hart already having a WWE DVD before, it makes them seem worse. Have guys praise him in one DVD and then bash him in a new one.
