When I think back on the history of both shows, it is hard for me personally to think of many memorable matches from SNME. It seemed to me that most of the matches on the Clash were all high profile and extremely well put together. I miss it tremendously.

I loved both so hard to vote. Clash seemed more like a PPV on free TV while SNME was build up for a PPV or something.

The Clash hands down. It was the precursor to how RAW and Nirtro did TV. PPV quality stories and matches that would resolve stories and feuds but create new ones or further enflame hot Feuds and draw interest to up comming PPV's

SNME was basically what Raw is now; a show which featured all the big names in the company to hype up the upcoming PPV and/or advance stories. It wasn't intended to give a free PPV on television like CotC was.
There won't be much in terms of memorable matches from SNME, mainly because it was a storyline driven show. My favorite memories came from The Main Event (same thing as SNME except it aired live on Friday night). The Hogan/Andre referee screwjob in 1988, the Mega Powers break-up in 1989, Hogan vs. Savage on free TV with Buster Douglas as the ref in 1990, etc. Very memorable shows. Back then, the novelty of seeing the big names on television in matches was bigger than the matches themselves.
I didn't see much of Clash of the Champions. I saw the last few ones, but not the earlier ones. I'm guessing it was the same premise as SNME, except more match driven. If that's the case, it really depends on what you watched back then. If you were an NWA fan, you'd prefer Clash. If you were a WWF fan, it would be SNME. For me, I was a huge WWF fan, so the answer was simple.

Clash of the Champions was awesome. I was incredibly pissed off in '98 when they stopped doing them.

I voted Saturday Night's Main Event, it holds more nostalgia for me. Clash was great, but for a lot of its run toward the end I had stopped watching WCW. I can still remember being so angry at the main event of the first Clash.

Clash hands down. Loved the one where Luger injured Sting's knee and then Sting came back from the hospital to defend the U.S. Title against Rick Rude. Rude took full advantage of the knee and won the match.
I miss Rude.

As a born and raised WCW mark, of course it's gotta be Clash Of The Champions.

Clash hosted some genuine classics during its run. It even had Flair/Steamboat for crying out loud. SNME wasn't in the same league. Not even close.

Clash Of The Champions was great, it just had a bigger feeling than SNME.
