rajah.com/base/node/7157The 2007 edition of the Survivor Series was tentatively scheduled to take place in Montreal, but that's off the cards now. According to the Canadian-based wrestling website SLAM! Wrestling, the event will be held in Miami, Florida instead. "It was tentatively booked a long time ago, but we never announced (Survivor Series) would be in Montreal," said WWE Canada president Carl DeMarco. "There was a hold on the building, but sometimes there are routing issues." ----------------- Well, looks like Vince and the WWE won't be able to milk the 10-year anniversary of the MTL Screwjob after all.

They can and probably will, it just won't happen to be at the same place. And we're all better people for it.

I'm sure they will try to recreate the Screwjob in some capacity because WWE just can't move on.
At least it's not in Montreal, where they would have more reason to do so.

I simply cannot believe that it was booked for Montreal in the first place. Was it purposely placed at the Montreal venue?

WWE has offices in Canada, Europe and Japan (I believe) to handle TV contracts, press, hotels, visas, arena bookings, promotional appearances and, things like that. They also accept audition tapes and forward good ones onto CT.

Quick, name someone from Miami! 'Cause they're getting screwed in November! Only people "on" the roster who claim to be from Miami (listed as their hometown) are MVP and the Rock.

That's GREAT news!!!
Maybe WWE realized that a Screwjob 10th Anniversary wasn't a great idea after all...
But the reaction of the Montreal crowd to a more than likely "incident" would have been priceless. Or we'll see how the Miami fans will react... Until the 2007 Survivor Series is done, I won't write off the idea of WWE resorting to another Screwjob to draw cheapest heat.
