On a fairly routine basis I regret never getting a Val Venis vs. Billy Gunn world title feud. I'm not joking.

I think hes pretty decent, not anything to special but I thought he was always good for putting people over a decent midcard talent.

I marked for him in Billy and Chuck. Man, I loved that tag team.

I liked him during the New Age Outlaws/DX days. "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn...The Mr. Ass thing was a little odd as I do remember the wretched see-through tights. As for Rockabilly, I thought the name sucked but I thought the Honky Tonk Man could add some real heat. Boy, was I wrong.

I'll say it-I marked for Rockabilly. Mostly because of Honky Tonk Man.

When he was in DX I marked for NAO...but not him in particular. Road Dogg > Billy Gunn.
Although I thought the Fame Asser was a cool finisher, the name just sucked...ass.

No. Never got into him. I did like the Fameasser. I did not however like the name the Fameasser. What was with that gimmick anyway? Vince: Billy, we've decided to take your character in another direction. We're going to make you the Assman. You're going to be bigger than Hogan. Billy Gunn: Uh... what..what is that exactly? I hated that song so very much. And to think the Assman was an innocent enough thing at the start but it seems like they slowly started "gaying up" his ring gear and later had him mock marry Chuck Palumbo. Yeah, that went over. It seems like Vinnie Mac may not be a personal fan of Gunn's work. While never marking for Billy, he did look pretty good in the ring sometimes and was when he was "The Bad Ass" Billy Gunn he was quite into his character but it seemed like after DX he just couldn't find a place. Also, LOL at The One And Only he started using towards the end there when he was "The One" Billy Gunn. Again as with the Fameasser, cool move with a silly name. Plus, I always hated moves that "cleverly" incorporate the wrestler/character's name into the title.

I really do not care for Billy Gunn or Kip James whatever he wants to be called these days.
But I will admit in my early teen years I marked for the Smoking Gunns and in my late teens I marked for the New Age Outlaws.
As a singles wrestler: No.

Billy Gunn is a great in ring talent when compared with other men his size in this day and age. I like him for his in ring work alone, its not his fault that WWE/F creative never gave him a decent gimmick. Also has anyone noticed that his body is working in reverse? When he first started out he was a little chubby and untoned but now at the age of 43 he is more ripped than ever.
