... does anyone think he could be the partner for Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania, against Rated RKO?
Michaels and Austin have history together, and it would make sense for Austin to help out Michaels at this point.

I think if they did this, Austin should stun HBK and take him "out of action" for a while. He would of course then proceed to stun Randy and Edge. Hey, he's Austin, all he ever does is beat up everybody. Something tells me JR would like this.

NoDQ.com > WWE > Steve Austin expected back on WWE TV soon Posted by Aaron Rift on 01/20/2007 at 06:15 PM
Due to his new WWE Films project, "The Condemned" set for release in April, legendary WWE superstar "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will be making his highly anticipated return to WWE television shortly.
The current plan at this point is to integrate Austin back into some sort of regular storyline, as to get use out of him at WrestleMania 23, to co-promote with his movie project in April

Nah, i dont think he'll be Shawns partner. Having Austin wrestle again is a bad idea anyway.

If he came back, I wonder if The Sandman would have to stop drinking beer?

He should have been one of those fired this week To be fair, Sandman was fun to watch back when he was a drunken madman wearing Zubaz pants and getting his ass handed to him by Raven. But yeah, you're absolutely right, who cares. I believe they have him around for pure ECW name recognition alone. It's not like he's the best wrestler or looks like Test.

That was awesome Back on topic. Randy beating Austin will not get him over. Because he already did the same to many other legends and...didn't get over. If beating Foley and Flair and other legendary wrestlers can't get you over, what can?

If beating Foley and Flair and other legendary wrestlers can't get you over, what can? Randy Orton is over. Don't know what your talking about. He has gotten over and is still over. Don't sit there and tell me he can't get over before watching his match with Benoit again Also go watch when Edge got him to join Rated RKO. The fans were chanting RKO or Randy or something You may not like him but HE IS over

If beating Foley and Flair and other legendary wrestlers can't get you over, what can? Dude.....he was never over more in his life than after he beat Foley. That feud MADE him. He was the hottest character on Raw for the few months following that. The dumbasses in creative decided that jobbing him over and over to HHH then losing the feud to Undertaker was just great for his career! He was over as hell until the HHH mess.
