So I just popped on this week's Smackdown and watched the opening segment. Teddy Long may be the worst GM in the history of anything ever.
Kennedy comes out and speaks nothing but the truth. He says he won the beat the clock sprint, says he has victories over 6 former champions, and says that all he was doing last week was protecting his investment and that anyone in his position would have done the same. Can you argue with any of this?
So Teddy Long then comes out and says: "Well Kennedy, you'll be protecting a lot more than that playa. Because right here tonight, you will go one on one with .....
.......
THE UNDAHTAKAH! (big shock, I know).
But then just like he did last year with Rey Mysterio, he's trying to sneak "his guy" into the title match. He says that if Kennedy loses to Undertaker tonight, then Undertaker will be added to the Rumble title match along with Batista and Kennedy.
So let me get this straight, had Undertaker just ignored Kennedy last week and chokeslammed the Miz when he was going to the first time, he would have won the match and the title shot. Or if he lets Kennedy interfere, he'll win it by DQ. Undertaker lost by screwing up himself, but just like Rey made a stupid mistake last year by putting his shot on the line for NO REASON against Orton, he's going to get another chance. Why? Teddy Long likes him.
JBL is right, Teddy Long is horrible as a GM.

That does seem a bit.....retarded. I mean, he did win. You could be, you know, setting up the fued. Like a Contract signing or something

Clearly this is a bit overboard, but Kennedy DID interfere with the match so that he'd make sure he kept his spot.
