Since this was starting to get off the ground over in the Hall of Fame thread, I thought I'd make a new one for it. So far I've heard Orlando, Las Vegas, and now Arizona as the leading candidates. What are your opinions on this?

I would like to see them return to Trump Plaza. But, Las Vegas and Arizona would be good locations. Also, WWE should hold WM 24 in Orlando, because if it's bad, then the crowd will be chanting TNA loudly.
On second thought, WrestleMania 24 in Orlando, FL!!!! BOOK IT!!!!

TNA's fans wouldn't have much of an IMPACT on Wrestlemania, since really, people from all over the country buy tickets to Wrestlemania.
Also, a lot of them probably only go to every Impact show because it's free admission (w/park pass or whatever).

Glendale, Arizona -- University of Phoenix Stadium
Site of the great 2007 Fiesta Bowl, the 2007 National Championship, and future home of Super Bowl XLII (Feb 2008).
Please, Vince. Make it happen!!

San Francisco, in AT&T Park. Reasons why: 1) The Bay Area has never hosted a Wrestlemania. 2) An outdoor event is always fun, and gives a feel like the Super Bowl. 3) Beautiful stadium, with lots of amenities, a view of the bay, and the SF skyline. 4) Ferry, trolley, and BART provide easy transportation to and from the stadium. If we don't get WM24 there, the A's are getting Cisco Field in 2011. Perhaps that will be the site of WM27.

Suggestion for mods: can we get this thread stickeyed? At least 5-6 times each year, a thread for future WM sites comes up, so it might be a good idea to keep one year-round. And here are some pics of AT&T Park to convince you:

What about Hawaii? Go with a tropical theme for WrestleMania 24.

Well, AT&T Park is very nice, and outdoor shows are super, but, what happens if it rains, or the weather is crappy. There is a reason they haven't had a true outdoor one since WMIX, though if they could figure out a way to do it, I would like it very much. However, with that said, I think San Diego would be good because it's always nice there, like, every day, so they could have it in an outdoor stadium (Qualcomm or Petco) and not worry about the weather, and it's a military town, so they could do a tribute to the troops type thing.
