I think he was supposed to use the Koji Clutch but couldn't get his leg over Riley's head (he tried to do it three or four times) so he rolled in the Fujiwara armbar.

It looks like he's still the same character with the same nickname with a stupid name. Monty Brown was a good name in my view.

ARMBAR? ?...WTF!!!..why does the wwe give these guys lame submissions?!! Do NOT knock armbars. A Cross-Arm Breaker or a Fujiwara Armbar is about as nasty a submission as you can beat someone with. That said, if he was actually supposed to do a Koji Klutch, that's not so good...and why are they biting off Chris Daniels? Come to think of it, why are they biting off Samoa Joe (MuscleBuster) and Jarrett (Stroke, one of the Divas does it), too, all in such close succession? Also, why the hell did they change his name? The guys' a former NFL player, why screw with his name?

Wow, I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that, i thought I was going crazy! He totally went for the Koji clutch, and then kinda laughed because he couldn't get it. So the armbreaker seemed like kind of an improv.

I'm sorry I missed the show tonight. It seems stupid that they changed his name, but I wasn't really a fan of his in TNA, so I don't really know what my point is.

Also, why the hell did they change his name? The guys' a former NFL player, why screw with his name? Exactly! Did they even refer to him as a former NFL player? I didn't get to watch the show. Seems like that's what adds some of his credibility.

What's a Koji Clutch? Also,
ARMBAR.
Why am I the first person in this thread to do that? I'm ashamed of you all.

I can tell you nothing about him in the 'E as that would involve me having to watch Tuesday Night Thunder, and I can't do that to myself.
From what I saw in TNA, he is entertaining and charismatic.
In other words, everything Bobby Lashley is not.

good on the mic, good in the ring.
I could never figure out why TNA couldn't give him the big push he is ready for.

Both are "power" wrestlers, now do we really need 2 when some one like Monty actually has charisma?
