I noticed on Amazon and FYE.com they mention a release of Mick Foley's "Greatest Hits and Misses Hardcore Edition". I figured when I saw it on Amazon that it must be a mistake, but FYE has it listed as the "Hardcore Edition." Has anyone read any information on this set? Possibly re-release, or new 2 disc set featuring his best hardcore matches??

Amazon says 3 disc. I will even buy it again for just the third disc. Ditto. Totally. There's still another set worth of Foley matches. They barely even scratched the surface of his matches with the Rock, no Rock/Sock Connection, and there's got to be plenty of his awesome Japanese matches they can get the rights to. Especially some of the matches I've seen him and Funk put on in Japanese gymnasiums. Oh, and MORE VADER.

I'm a huge Cactus Jack fan, but I got one of his Japanese tapes and he lost the majority of the matches-still I love watching him, it just sucks that he seemed to lose a lot

Yeah, but more than likely, it'll be all his Orton/Edge feuds and teaming up stuff.

The chubby jobber that is super mega over and is always booked to take a hell of a beating.

Hence the title. That's the weird charm of Foley, he didn't even have to win to get over. Just kill himself. Things I'd like to see if this is a new set: -The Halloween Havoc death match with Vader -The "goofy" Hardcore promos -"This is Your Life" -The Boiler Room match with Taker WITH commentary from Foley and JR (the original match had no commentary, in a move that baffled Foley) -The tag match from 97-Taker/Mankind vs HHH/HBK...the first teaming of DX and the debut of Rick Rude -The 10 man tag from Dallas-Cactus/Rock/Too Cool and Rikishi vs DX and the Radicals -The triple threat cage match with Rock and Shamrock

I figured that it would be a brand new set, and I really hope that they include the Boiler Room Brawl in this one....Doesn't seem like the WWE to re-release a DVD that is 2 years old.

Dispite your feelings on Orton, they have to include Backlash 2004.

I wouldnt be interested in the new stuff with edge, and as far as Foley jobbing all the time, it's just wrong, he has the look and the character of a legit crazy badass, and then he comes up short anyway-he shoulda seemed unstoppable, kinda like Bruiser Brody, although there's only one Bruiser Brody

Dispite your feelings on Orton, they have to include Backlash 2004. Yeah, that was a good match. I really hope this DVD contains new material. I wanted to get the original but couldn't. I wonder when WWE will release it.
