WTF!? I just found out today that Cena is now the co-holder of the World Tag Team Titles. Someone please tell me exactly what purpose does this have? Why don't they just put all titles on Cena? They might as well considering that the entire company is built around him seemingly. But seriously, what purpose could putting the tag titles on him be? Could they set up them losing it, with Shawn getting pinned obviously, setting up Wrestlemania? I just don't get it.

Well he's not the only one to have a world and tag title. Batista and Benoit also had both at one point in the last few years.
It's not really that big a deal.

It's purpose is to either
A: Create buildup to Orton vs Edge
B: Create buildup to Cena vs HBK

It's not a good situation, but then again, I was complaining about putting tag titles on singles wrestlers even before Cena/HBK were given the titles.
Tag team titles should only ever be held by dedicated tag teams.

It's funny, Russo always said titles don't mean anything, and I think this is the one holdover current creative is clinging to.
Two man power trip?
Tag teams being brought in only to be squashed or abandoned shortly thereafter.
Tag teams becoming the number one contender, but never actually receiving their title shot.
the Jeff Hardy/Kahli situation.
OK, the Hardy/Kahli situation has me slightly confused. What was the point? Kahli is so massive that poor Jeff can't do crap, but Kahli, conversely is either too stupid to realize he has to cover a guy to win the title, or just doesn't care about the title, which just make no sense.
Cena/HbK is just another RAW throw-together, like Orton/Edge, so I'm not surprised. Still, at least there's some consistancy, as opposed to Smackdown, where you've got Londrick holding the belts, and having matches with the reformed, but not really, but sort of, but still not really MNM and...um...Regal/Taylor?
I guess SD is for the established teams, and RAW is for the "more exciting" duos of "whoever the hell we're pushing right now stuck in a team, so they can win titles that will further the feud between them, since it works so well all the time".

By Wrestlemania, he'll be the holder of every belt in Double Double E. He'll overcome the odds in every match too.

If that happens, I will never ever watch wrestling again!

He can't carry them all. Who does he look like, Ultimo Dragon?
But really, I seriously doubt he'll still be tag champ come WrestleMania. He'll drop them to further the Cena/Michaels TENSION.

Do we get spinning Tag belts now He did it to the other two belts he touched. By Summerslam every belt will spin.

Yo I like the idea. I mean if "boring" Lance Storm can win 3 titles why not Jay-C, ya feel me?

I think Cena just became my favorite Raw superstar again. Everybody likes to bash him for anything possible, I find it kind of amusing but very ridiculous at times. I'm not exactly a huge Cena mark, but I understand why they push him.
Nobody seemed to complain when Lance Storm was double (or triple) champion at 1 point in WCW, although in fairness how many people besides me actually watched that show at the time? I could be wrong but I believe Benoit was a double champion a few years ago, I dont recall anyone complaining then. Nobody seemed to complain while RVD was WWE and ECW champion. Double standards!!
I dont think the Raw tag titles have meant anything at all since the brand extension and the days of E&C vs The Hardyz vs the Dudleyz. I'm a little surprised that people still care about that. Its fine with me, I have no problem changing the channel when i see the snoozefest of Cryme Tyme, Highlanders, and Cade & Murdoch on my tv. I'd rather see teams like Cena and HBK because at least its interesting and leading to something.

Its not like he's the first person to hold more than one belt. Its really not that serial.

John Cena should hold the NWA title and make it a spinner one. Now that would reek of awesomeness.

Two Man Power Trip (Triple H and Stone Cold) once held the WWF World Heavyweight title (Austin), the Intercontinental title (Triple H) and the WWF World Tag Team titles between them. That was ALL of the major gold in the WWF.

That was ALL of the major gold in the WWF. And believe me, I had a problem with it then as well. I wonder what the rest of the roster feels about this especially the tag teams they put together for the purpose of being, well, tag teams. And freakinsweet, the Blue Man Group reaks of awsomeness.
